I moved this summer and got rid of many things in the process, including a Brother multifunction printer that was ... OK but not wonderful. Realized I needed to replace it, but wanted something that WOULD be wonderful. A friend has a smaller, older model Canon inkjet multifunction and had highly recommended it. This Canon is exactly what I wanted as well as what I needed, and I got an amazing deal during Black Friday sales!

I've only had this printer for about a month now, but thus far it seems to work just fine. The ink cartridges that came with it haven't run out yet, so I'm impressed Canon gave enough to actually use the printer before being forced to buy more. I have printed a few photos and they have turned out ok; I think I need to use different software to get better than "ok." I wanted an "all-in-one" printer and this definitely fits the bill. The scans work great, copies are great and printing is good at a decent speed. The best part is that it was very easy to set up. I did not set mine up for wireless, though I have that capability, so I can't speak for that set up, but wired was very easy. All in all I am pleased with the product.

Easy to set up. Prints great. A little slow when waking up.

Past experiences with other brands of wireless printers such as Epson and HP were not good. However, this Canon printer seems to be much better, no hassles with the wireless, easy to set up and actually worked right away, which was a pleasant surprise. Nice crisp copies. For our needs, it's just right!

I was able to both use online support and also used canon phone support for set up. The printer is perfect-takes a little extra time to be available and it is a little noisy. The copy works well and the fax is seemless. The draw back of this printer for me is the unavailability of a port for downloading via SD card.

Good quality prints. Great wireless network capability on home network. A bit slow on print speed, but does the job. Duplex printing works good so far. Have not tried printing from phone yet. Good scans so far; wireless scanning from laptop has worked great so far. Get the larger packs of ink if you use printer regularly; smaller packs will run out quick.

Prints clear, but hard to scan pages in books, Fairly easy to use.

I got this printer for an excellent price and checked reviews before purchasing. It was PC Worlds editors choice. Many positive features. Extra large paper capacity, duplex printing and scanning. auto doc. feed up to 35 sheets. Fantastic photo prints. Not so great speed.... takes longer than I like for printing to begin. Software is very sluggish and overly complicated....keep it simple please. I would recommend this printer. If you are not in a hurry for things to print then it is really good and if you print alot of photos you will definitely enjoy this printer.

Great all in one printer. Installs easily. Can be installed on wireless network. Prints fast. Fantastic value on color cartridges. Can purchase packs containing multiples of each color much cheaper than Hp or other manufactures.

Good all around printer. Faxing and scanning a little more complicated than the Epson Artisan I have, but the photo quality is very good. I do find that the ink runs out a lot faster than the Epson. Which means ink is not cost effective. But still would recommend the printer for home use.

I hooked it up, plugged it in, turned it on & it found & connected to my network right away. No problems printing from our phones or laptop. It takes a little while to get going, particularly if it's been a while since it was used, but once it does get going it moves from job to job pretty quickly. It's speex is not bad for an inkjet and has nice quality. At full price it would have been reasonable, but with the huge sale price I paid it is an incredible deal.

I donated my printer of 15 years to a student in need so I could buy the Cannon MX922 printer. Works on wi-fi and direct connect. Easy to scan pages or print photos and documents. Best part is the great price, quality and much more affordable ink cartridges!

I have split feelings on this printer. In my experience, I have the best history with cannon and epson printers. By that standard, this printer is actually on the lower-end of the spectrum. However, it still far out performs many of the printers that I have had in the past. It is capable of scan, copy, fax, and wireless printing with a small lcd screen and physical numerical keypad. The lcd screen is not touch screen. I have printed almost exclusively using the wireless printing, and so far I have done so without error from both laptops and cell phones. The print quality is good for this class of printer, but the print jobs are SLOW. It is overall a good printer, but certainly should not be your first choice if you need quick prints. Also, it is loud!
