Nice product with horrible deficiencies
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The printer is a delightful printer - relatively easy to set up wi-fi access, and economical with ink.However it suffers from a major deficiency - it goes off-line and can not be brought back online! Turns out that this is a Known Feature, and Canon apparently sees no reason to do anything about it, except to point the finger at various PC manufacturers, and ultimately you (the purchaser) for not knowing which driver you have installed. I've previously been a great fan of Canon printers, but I'll never buy another one - this is a great concept device ruined by lackadaisical attitudes toward customer service, and erratic design values. Sorry :-(

Economical printing

If the main black ink tank empties in the middle of a print job, it is possible to continue the job to the end on the auxiliary black tank so as not to lose the entire job. The ink tanks are separate and replaceable individually which is also an economy plus. All in all, a great value to me.

Decent printer

Sure enough after buying this one I was able to get the old one to work. I've had it several years... Now I have two. Printer works well, it's just sometimes it takes several minutes to print after sending something to it.

Slower than I had expected.

No instructions on how to by pass the upper drawer and print on the normal lpaper size if I don't want the smaller size paper.

wouldnt work with samgung

I Went back n raffled to cannon rep she told me what to do. Didn't work. Then she gave me 800 #. They couldn't get it said it was phone. Then went to samsung rep he thought he had it fixed didn't. After 4 times took printer back.
