Has a canon printer before and it died after about 3 years, so bought this one because it used the same ink. It started out great, but after about a week it started to do the same as the other similar printer. Which was even after hooking up to wifi, the printer would say it was offline and would not print, after trying all troubleshooting ideas, it ended up I had to use a cable when wanting to print something, So annoying, but not sure what else to try to make it work right.

Only downside as with most printers is buying ink...especially when printing in color and/or printing pictutes, but it does seem more efficient (used less ink) than our last Canon

This PIXMA MX922 replaced a less than 3-year-old MX850 (may have been MF850 - I can't remember presently) that had a failed print head. Rather than a costly repair I chose to recycle and purchase a new machine that had a good scanner recommendation. Setting up the WiFi was frustrating, but once done it worked great for a month - no complaints with the print/copy/scan functions. Fax hasn't been needed so I had not set it up; with last machine I had trouble trying to use a single phone line. No set up configuration worked correctly so I just left that function alone since I rarely fax from home. A month after using my new MX922 it suddenly failed, not communicating correctly with the computer. Getting a print job through has been hit and miss, mostly miss. No settings on either the machine or computer had been changed prior to the malfunction. Virus protection is on and working. All my troubleshooting attempts have failed. I have since found online that other owners of this machine have had the same problem. Very frustrating, apparently a software problem. We'll see. I will be on the phone with customer service and if necessary Geek Squad whose service I purchased this time.

So far so good, purchased it just before the holiday. I've been very pleased with the scanner so far and its ability to capture detail in photos. Very easy setup to all of my PC and MAC devices.

I chose this printer mostly because it prints direcly to printable CDs/DVDs. I would have gone with an HP printer but none of theirs print directly to CDs/DVDs.

This Is a Great All In One Printer. I have Bought Four Of Them and they do everything I need to do. Canon Is A Great Product. We Love All Things we can do with there Products.

I can live with the bit slower print time because it is so quiet and doesn't shake my table while printing. The scanner and functions are great.

The all in one printer met all my need perfectly. I particularly love the online technical support that enabled easy and hitch-free installation. For the first time, I can print from all my devises at once by Bluetooth connection.

It was on sale at a great price and very easy to install the wi fi for all of our computers - and I am a computer dummy. Was disappointed that I had to buy all new printer cartridges that are different from our previous model.

Canon Pixma MX922 is a great printer with all the features I need ! It is a bit large, but once I found a spot for it every thing turned out fine.

Printer is very slow. Very difficult for making greeting cards. A computer wizz took several hours to get this programme working. This printer wants to take the paper from the Upper shelf, but office sized paper does not fit on top. Needs to come from bottom shelf. I can print photos, but they are a bit dark. I am disappointed with this as well.

Prints fine. My complaint is it takes a long time to power on sometimes. I don't know if it's cleaning the heads, but it goes through it's gyrations too much.

Works well so far. Purchased this 4 weeks ago as a replacement for a 6-year old Canon previous model that quit working. I like the relatively quick set-up out of the box.

I love this machine. Only in my house for a few days and already paying for itself.

I got a steal of a deal. Normally I'm an HP fan, but couldn't pass up the features for the price. Bluetooth and wireless were big selling points. It does take up a lot of space but aside from that, I'm happy with this purchase.

Had to scan pictures and borrowed someone else's scanner because it was soooooo slow. But the print quality is very good.

I had an older Canon printer that finally pooped out. I knew I wanted another as close to that one as possible. So glad when I went looking I found this one at Best Buy. I'm very happy with this printer.

Chose this because I wanted duplex scanning and printing, fax, and decent printing speed. All works well. I am finding the scanning software to be a bit confusing.

This model (discontinued) will print on to printable CDs and DVDs. Separate cartridges for each color ink and good photo quality.

Overall, I like the printer very much however when I tried to use the fax it was difficult to figure out.
