I've used this printer to print everything from photos to standard black and white copy's. It performs amazing. The photos come out with about the same quality as a photo printed at Walgreens or the likes, however that is to be expected since I'm using my phone (forgot to increase quality on it) to take the picture. Never had an issue connecting any of my computers or i-devices. The software is a bit confusing so I don't use it but it scans, copies and prints just as expected. Haven't used the fax feature but I would imagine it would work just as well. I have had HP, Epson and Cannons and I would have to say I like this Cannon better than any other brand.

The Pixma MX922 is a good value for the price. Some users complained that the SW responds slowly but I didn't have this problem. The printer was shipped with full cartridges which is more that many other brands. I had tried 2 other printers and returned them for mechanical failures or ink cartridge limitations (and those limitations are numerous and expensive, for me they have become the #1 factor in printer purchasing). For example, unlike most other brands, I understand that you can print B/W even if one of the color cartridges is empty (although I haven't had the opportunity to verify this yet). Support is great, easily accessible and efficient. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a solution for non-standard paper loading, like envelopes. In order to print envelopes you have to empty the paper tray and load the envelope instead. I rarely use it so it doesn't bother me too much, but it makes no sense when the printer is equipped with a manual feeder that can be used for this purpose (which is what most manufacturers do).

I bought this printer as a replacement. At first, I was concerned because the document holder seemed much more flimsy. I needn't have worried. This printer is definitely a step up from my previous Pixma despite it's low price, and I couldn't be more pleased! The only downside is that it takes a surprisingly long time to warm up and to print - you don't want to have to print anything if you are in a hurry. I'm adjusting my time expectations accordingly, but the finished copies are worth the wait, and I am thrilled to be able to print from my iPad directly!

I purchased this all in one wireless printer along with my Lenovo 27" touchscreen computer. I contacted Canon customer support and was walked through setting up all 4 options; the printer works great, the color looks wonderful, fax and all other options are working well....I'm very happy with my purchase.

I received a demo from the cannon rep. At best buy who really knew his stuff. After his presentation and contrast with other brands and models I was sold on this one. Oddly enough it wasn't a sales pitch after all. This printer works better then any past manufactures with quote comparable functionalities.

We needed a fax at home for my husband's job, so we upgraded to this model from a Canon model without faxing capabilities. This was easy to,set up and get working, with good instructions. Faxing is easy, as well. I like that there are different drawers for smaller print jobs, like photos and envelopes.

This printer was easy to setup and I haven't noticed any connection issues as of yet. It does have some issues if you power it off, but I think it might just be a communication bug with the computer. It performs at a reasonable speed. The only thing I would say is that it is fairly bulky.

I like this printer but it seems to have issues with printing it appears not to be on the network. I must admit it is huge but I decided to keep it anyway, I also think the ink is costly but I try to recycle cartridges when purchasing new ones. I love that I can print from my idevices also.

I've always purchased HP printers but no more. It seems the printer always ends up having problems, well, printing. One big problem with HP that I've encountered is: the printer starts to have a lot of trouble grabbing the paper out of the tray. I'm talking about every HP I've ever had. And now, it is making a mess of the page. Skipping lines, faded lines, etc. This Canon printer picks the paper up flawlessly and prints great. I've used the paper feed to copy documents up to 10 pages. No problems at all. Scanned in a number of other documents and saved them in several different formats. No problems at all. The software that comes with the Canon is much better (IMHO) than HP also. I guess by now you can tell I'm very happy with the Canon. Doesn't seem to use any more ink than any other printer I've ever had. The HP is now nothing more than an expensive scanner. Sorry HP, but you've let me down for the last time. Thanks Canon!!

It was difficult to connect to Network, vague instructions. Prints nice, but a little noisy as it processes to warm up which takes a little too long to get a print job to actually print.

This printer is by far the best printer you can get for the great deal. It's a photo printer that photographers use, as I was told by BB Staff, and it basically every function you could possibly need.

I bought this almost exclusively for photo printing at home, due to hating cropped prints when I order from stores and also how cheap the 3rd party ink is for this. I'm confident in giving these prints to my clients. Color accuracy is almost there and they're pretty detailed versus the original digital files. If you're only going up to 8x10, this is a great choice.
