Our older earlier version of this printer we liked in one way better. It had all the same multiple functions, but, I could just print pics on regular copy paper. I must use only certain size printer photo paper or it will not print. I use to be able to print screen shots on normal paper, now not. It does a lot of moving and shaking to ready itself for print. HOWEVER, in saying that we really like Canon quality of the printing, and the great customer and technical support from people here in USA for as long as you own it. So, I guess I go get some print paper.

Purchased for CD/DVD LABEL PRINTING it does a SUPER job and for the price it does it all very GOOD plus Canon Support is the BEST I purchase a lot of equipment and Canon by far has the BEST SUPPORT I'm very satisfied with it and purchased another for my second location.

Salesman recommended this printer. It was easy to set up, no problem at all. Works great at least so far. Good price, and everything works great. I have tried everything on it. It's a keeper thanks

Really like the printer, I have myself and 3 other computers in the house set up on WIFI connect to the printer. Works great, I can print for work, my wife for her needs, and my daughter for her school work. The dual sided print option works well, saves paper. I also like the scanning capabilities. This is not the fastest printer I have ever owned, but it does so many utility function I couldn't be more pleased. Definitely a great bargain since it is a little older and heavily discounted. It works well with after market print cartridges which is also a money saver.

Prints well with no problems. Easy to change ink. Easy to use.

I had been using 3rd party software on my desktop to "help" my iPad print. Some things worked well, some didn't. With this AirPrint printer you'll print from your iPhone or iPad with the touch of a button. You can select 2 sided printing, color or black only and which pages you want to print. No more printing the last page of a website with only a line at the bottom!! And need to print pages 1, 3 and 5? No problem. You get a preview in the lower part of the print screen and you can deselect any pages you want, which "grays" them out so you can easily see what's being printed. Control everything you want to print, the way you want to print it in seconds. You thought wireless was great....you'll love this AirPrint printer!!

Printing quality is good, but a little slower than I would like. I would definitely buy this again. I'm still having problems figuring out the scanner, but I think it is probably the user and not the printer!

Bought this printer to replace our Kodak printer. Wow! What a difference. This was a huge step up. We print alot of labels with lots of color and this printer delivers true color and great quality. Ink lasts a very long time as well. So glad we made this purchase.

The best printer I've ever owned. It saves gobs of money on ink because the cartridges are SINGLE COLOR (not the multi-color cube style cartridge which wastes copious money on un-used residual ink when a different color is expended). This is my 3rd Canon printer. I wouldn't buy any other brand. Great price too!!.

easy to operate with excellent printing results. I love it

The setup was easy. The wireless features have worked flawlessly. After getting through the learning curve I find this to be the best printer I have owned. I have 3 other printers from 2 other providers, which have not been reliable specifically using the wireless features. I find the colors are wonderful, the speed is good. I particularly like the 2 cassette function, where my photo paper is loaded in one cassette and my document paper is in the other cassette. Therefore when switching from one function to another, one doesn't have to unload and reload the cassette with the proper paper. Time saving feature as well as of ease of use..

Brought this printer so we could print from our wireless devices and it has worked beautifully. The print quality is excellent, its very frugal with the ink. The original cartridges lasted us for months. The only downside is the warm up time, it is so slow, once it warms up it does fine. If you are looking for a speed demon this isn't for you, but you want a quality printer at an excellent price this is the printer you've been looking for.

Excellent printer for pictures and the option of individual print cartridges makes it economical. One problem that I did have is that it doesn’t work well with Google cloud. This printer is supposed to be “Cloud Ready” but it does not work.

I went to Best Buy store and was looking for all in one printer and found this one and compared with Amazon, Guest what Best Buy matches the price so I got it right away and this is perfect for my small needs and it connects wirelessly!

I have been using Canon Printers for years. My old one finally gave up the ghost, after many years of great service. I immediately started looking a Canon replacement, and decided on this one. It was easy to set up, and get it going. So far the print quality is great. If it lasts half as long as my old one, I will be extremely happy..

The Good: - Air Print feature - Easier ink tank access - Speed of printing - Photo printing quality - 2 front trays The Bad: - Cannot accomodate Legal size paper because back tray eliminated - Instruction manual on photo printing is inadequate. I had to figure out for myself that photo paper has to be placed face down in the front tray - Cannot use ink tanks from ealier models MX892, ... - Warmup time too long The Ugly: - Canon still has not figured out how to make their printers less noisy and to shake less during printing as compared to other brands

This printer has taken my old MX 870 a step further in quality and operation. Easy to set up on my local Ethernet wired network. Large ink tanks and is conservative on ink use. Print quality is a step better than my old MX 870. Two-sided printing is a great paper saver.
