Used to have only HP printers, got a smaller pixma for daughter away at school and had great experience with it - so when I needed a new printer at home decided to try the 922 - may have overbought - eg wont use all the 'all-in-one' features like fax. But have been very pleased to date with print quality, speed, and ease of use. Easily usable by all devices on my network, mix of desktop, laptop, mac, iPad devices. I have a higher than average complexity home network - so may have contributed to ease of setup - but if people are careful and thorough read, and follow instructions should not have problems.

    Cannon makes great printers

So far all the Cannon printers I have owned have been quality printers, this one is no exception. It works and prints great. I love that each color is a separate ink cartridge, and this printer takes the new XL cartridges, that last longer. The cartridges are a little expensive but they last quite awhile. Recommended.

I was looking for a laser printer. I was fed up with my deskjet printer, having to purchase ink all the time. There was a Canon representative who talked me into purchasing this printer and I am glad she did. So far, it has done a great job of printing and I am enjoying the ability of printing from my iPhone and iPad.

I needed to replace our outdated Kodak Easyshare printer and went into my local Best Buy to look at the selection of printers they had in stock. When I reached the printer area a gentleman introduced himself to me he was the Canon rep and he showed me this model and thoroughly explained all it could do. They even price matched the price in the store for me which was great. We love this new printer it is easy to use and was simple to set up I'm going to be ordering another one for our vacation home. BEST PRINTER on the market in my opinion.

I've owned this for almost 1 year and this is the 2nd one I've bought this is for my dad who uses it to print photos for his dance club. We've used Canon's almost exclusively for the last 5-6 years, the inks are fairly easy and cheap to find Look on eBay (Hint) The feature set it great, I mainly use it for printing copies and stuff from my Mac, it's nice that it has the auto-document feeder and fax, though who still uses fax? But it's good to have for those who still have land lines... The only negative is that it is on the larger size, but for the price (price matched amazon) it was a steal! I won't hesitate to recommend this printer!

This is a replacement printer for a previous Canon model. Have not had any trouble with either one. Very reasonable price and does everything I need. Prints nice photos, fast black and white printing and of course, love the AirPrint feature. As far as saving money, love the separate ink tanks and the fact that you can print on both sides of paper. This is a great paper saver!

This wasn't a replacement, I didn't have a printer. I knew I could pick up something for little money, but I really wanted quality output and didn't want the printer ink to be too costly. Cannon is a brand I trust, the cost was more than fair, it was easy for ME to set up. It also has a few extras I may use or not.

I do like this printer so much I bought another one after I started getting banding on photo prints..Best Buy matched price I found for $69.. wireless works excellent and AirPrint works well also! Wish it would’ve lasted more than 4 1/2 years but that seems to be about the going timeframe for these things...but for the price I don’t mind.. the quality of photo printing is very good and it’s fast as well!

I just bought my second MX922 for my second home. I've had my first for about two years and with the exception of one paper jam it has performed flawlessly! Ink is by far the most affordable of any printer I have ever owned and the print quality is top notch. I an particularly fond of the duplex scan to phone function.

This WiFi printer is excellent in all ways -- it replaces my older Canon model that was similar but without WIFI. I can print easily from PC, Mac, iPhone, & iPad. Photo quality is very, very high. Ease of scanning is excellent. A top-notch unit.

I pay really cheap for this all in one. I use all the features on it. The scanner, is my personal fax, printer and copier. Easy set up. Wireless is a plus and love the black color. I previously had in place another Canon Pixma all in one and I had it for 8 years. Canon really makes good printers. Ok with Windows 7, 8 and 10. Have not test it with Mac or Linux.

This all-in-one Cannon printer looks sleek and performs just how we need it to. The wireless seems to work much better than the last HP all-in-one we owned. It prints quickly and have a very easy to use menu. Our biggest gripe is the way you have to scan documents to .pdf. With a typical corporate printer you normally can input an email address and have the .pdf file sent your way. This printer requires a little bit more effort and you must scan one page at a time.

We bought this to replace an ageing HP and so far.....we're impressed. I like the wireless and it doesn't constantly drop the connection like the HP did. Print quality is great and print speed is ok. The original ink cartridges didn't last very long, but we will see how long the replacements last. The flip down front tray seems a little flimsy to me, but seems to be holding up ok. I also wish it had an additional paper tray, We do a lot of printing, and it would be nice to not have to load paper all the time. Overall, I think it's a pretty good printer and am happy with my purchase.

I've had it for a 4 months now and all is doing well. Print quality is great, even with photos. I appropriate being able to print on multiple sizes of paper. No problem with paper jams like my old machine. Two cons: first, it doesn't have a physical owners manual, but will include a digital one with installation of the drivers. I am more of a hands on person. Second, I'm doing MOST of my printing on grayscale in an effort to save ink. The starter cartridges "ran out" in less than 2 months but I've only replaced the black cartridge and the color prints still look fine. I knocked off a star because the system REALLY wants me to change those color cartridges and reminds me every time I print, but I won't until quality deteriorates. At least this brand doesn't force you to change them early like others do.

I purchased two of these one for myself and one for family. I love the printer. It prints very fast (even possibly as fast as my laserjet) and I also love the quality of the photos when they are printed. I like the fact that the printer automatically readies the output tray when it is in the up position.

I really like my Canon Pixma 922 printer. It is easy to use and prints great photos. I have also sent several photos from my IPhone directly to the printer (it;s wireless). It also prints good quality letters and documents. Once I figured out how to use the scanner function, it was easy to scan documents and email them. I do not use the fax function, as I do not have a "land line" or DSL dedicated line. In summary, the Pixma 922 is a great printer at a very reasonable price.
