I am ready to return this printer. If you want quick output...forget about it!!!!!! It takes forever to initialize and then when you send a document to it, it goes through a minute or more of additional initialization.... SUCKS BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst printer I have ever experienced. Constantly goes offline, balks when connects. Have to repeatedly install drivers. More of a "non-printer.". We hate it.

Thank goodness I use this sparingly. It is the slowest printer I've ever owned. I could take a week vacation, come back, and my print is just finishing. Loses wifi connection frequently. Ugh.

Purchased this when my HP broke. Swore I would never get another HP, and am so please with this Canon that I wished I had upgraded much sooner. Easy to set up and start printing. Very easy to set up the networking connections also. All setup was performed on the screen on the front of the printer. Was never able to get my wireless HP to connect to all the devices on my network, but this one has, and everyone is much happier now. Another big bonus was that I can now scan remotely. Used to have to plug in directly with my old HP, but now everything just works so much better and easier. Printing works well with the following devices, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Mac, Apple I-Phone, and Windows Phone. Very happy with this purchase!

hard to set up had to get geek squad to help,and after several days of use the scan docs to computer stopped working,i am thinking of returning the printer to best buy,very disappointed in the product

I purchased this printer after having a Canon PIXMA printer for years and was very happy with it. This is the worst printer I have ever had. It's slow, freezes, the paper drawer is very flimsy.

Print speed is painfully slow. Returned within days of purchase.

this printer has got to be the worse I changed it for a new one already. the ink is change is very messy and barely lasts a few weeks if you do a lot of printing as I do for school. stick with brother

Salesperson at Best Buy recommend this printer. She said it was easy to install. It was not. We called Canon support twice, they could not figure it out. We returned it for an HP . Much better.

I have been trying to make this printer work properly but it will not download complete information to print. It starts and then stalls. Then it completes it's cycle without printing the full page.

Never buy this junk. The worst printer you can get. Does not stay online. Goes offline all the time. Its past the 15 days return period at Best Buy, I might have to throw it into thrash.

Very disappointed in this printer. I removed from box and followed instructions and the moment I turned on the unit it shows an error message. Not a good printer to purchase!!

Product purchased was defective. Worked with 1-800# In an unsuccessful attempt to resolve. After an hour, gave up and returned to Best Buy.

Having always had HP Printers I was leery to change to Canon. Researched and this one had good reviews overall. I did not want to spend a lot and I wanted the ink to be reasonable. This printer was much larger than I expected, closer to the sizeof my old HP Photosmart. I did not need one this large or with all the functions, but for the price at Best Buy this was the better choice. Very easy set up including the wireless. Had the hardest time understanding the paper tray for some reason. But overall, I am happy with the ease.The ink cartridges all leaked a bit when I put them in which I did not like. I followed the instructions carefully on how to insert but still leaked. Time will tell how long they last.

Printer was working fine for some time but started printing only blank pages. Also USB printing didn't work. Disappointed.

There is no manual included with the printer. Online manual is clear as mud. WPS is not explained and entry of the password is not explained. I still cannot use the scanner. Very disappointed.

I just hooked up this printer and after and hour or so of playing around, here are my initial thoughts. Hook up went very easy, setting up wireless a cinch. My only issue was which printer to install on my Mac, the computer found it printer with no problems, but I had to choose between AirPrint and that bonjour. AirPrint is for your basic printing, the bonjour gives you more control and selections. for paper selections, color management....etc. I did however have a hard time finding the scanner software. You have to install the correct version as I could not initially find it because I selected the more advanced printer style. I purchased this printer for photo printing as my epson workforce didn't do a great job, but is a great office/home printer, just not the greatest for photos. I still have to play with settings and stuff to get my photo prints to look like what I have on screen, but the photo quality is far better and I am using matching canon photo plus glossy paper. so far after about an hour I am very pleased. The cartridges are pretty small so it will be interesting to see how long they last. It mite be wise to look at getting a continuous ink system for any printer, after the initial purchase of the system, you just need to buy the ink with is far cheaper than the cartridges.

Will not connect with other computer or iPad in the house. Also color printing runs out after printing 10 sheets of paper.

Always a challenge to use it in wireless mode. Google for PIXMA MX922 with error code B200 now makes it completely unusable including the scanner too.
