I was surprised how easy it was to set up and use this printer. The colors are sharp and Its photo-making quality is just like a photo lab. Our entire family can connect to it wirelessly from anywhere in our house which is a huge convenience for us. This does everything we need it to do.

Love the quality of print, but buyers beware ... You will need to buy an extra large black cartridge in order to set up. Was really peeved it took another trip to Best Buy to get the needed cartridge before setup could complete. WTF?

This model is big. Set up almost totally automatic, Very easy, just read directions and follow. Set up takes about 15 to 20 minutes, but you just sit there while it does the work. Works wired or wireless. If you want it will do every office task or just use what you need have fun

I have been using canon printers for a long time. Upgraded to this one which has fax. Great buy.

I did a good deal of searching for a canon 922 printer because I am very happy with my canon 512 printer at my summer house. Setting up the 922 for wireless, faxing, and scanning has been poor. I am waiting for the Geek squad to put my mind at ease. It does print very nicely when hard wired.

I bought this unit to replace an earlier model MX822, so t thought that would ease installation in my Linux wireless network. Sadly, it did take trolling the Linux forums to find finally the steps needed to install the driver that actually works. This would not be an issue if you are using Windows as that set up is easy. To me, a drawback of this type of printer is the cost of the ink. The printer is relatively low cost, but the ink tanks are pricey, and the printer loves to gobble them up. However, ti prints well (a bit slow), does not jam, and photo are very sharp and colorful. It works great with my Apple ipads.
