Having had a series of issues with a different brand printer that lasted less than 6 months and was fraught with constant issues and needs for adjustment, I was expecting a painful setup process and difficulties getting everything functional. Instead, what I found was a quick setup and install with printing via cable, wireless and airdrop from an iPad all with 30 minutes. Simple unpacking. Simple directions for setting up and testing print scan and fax. Color quality is great. Menu s common sense and easy to use. I've never owned a canon, but I'm thinking this is exactly what makes someone be loyal to a brand. Will update if anything changes, but everything is great so far!

I have had this for about 4 weeks now. I am happy with the quality of the prints from this unit. The double sided printing is a nice feature. Ink use so far has been minimal. The ease of use with my family's Apple portable products (iPhone/pad) for printing from is the best feature to me. Initial start up after printer has been in sleep mode is slow. It will take at least 2 to 3 minutes to get warmed up and ready. That's the only downside. Overall I am very happy with this product !

After seeing multiple reviews of how quality this printer was I decided to go for it. Pleased with the printing quality and ease-of-use with Android and Apple devices.

It has copier, printer and fax. all are easy to set up and use. If you have any questions they have a Cannon rep. you can call, who was more than willing to help. Excellent copies.

The reviews were right - this printer makes very nice pictures. It is easy to use with my iPhone. But getting it to work with my Windows computer was more complicated, and I still have not figured out how to use it with my Chromebook.

This printer can do everything with ease. I like the fact that it uses the more modern ink, which is cheaper and lasts a lot longer than Canon previous printers, so you save money in the long run. Also I wanted an all-in-one wireless printer with a Hard line Fax/phone connection, and this Canon is capable of doing so. The only downside of the printer is its size. For a home use, this printer is very large and boxy. Operationally, the printer is quiet, versatile, and can do it all. If you have the space, I would definitely recommend this printer for all.

This is my second Canon, replacing my Pixma 850. Installing the software and the printer was straightforward and relatively simple. The quality of the photo prints is excellent, as is regular color printing. I would recommend this printer quite highly for its ease of operation, print quality, and price.

I had to finally retire my Epson Ink Jet after about 12 years or so. I printed A LOT of DVD labels with it, and wanted a printer that could do the same. They're harder to find than they were 10+ years ago, but this Canon not only has that feature, but also flat bed scanning, fax, and photo printing. I'm very pleased with the quality of the prints. Takes a while to begin printing and shut down, but I've heard this is the case when you use it infrequently like I do. Overall, great value for the money for sure.

We are very pleased with this Canon printer. We had a very bad experience with an Epson printer that essentially died 6 months after we purchased it. This one has many features, was easy to set up and has great print quality. We are very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to others.

This canon printer replaced our other canon MG5220 printer we had for 4 years which died and stopped working right in the middle of printing. We bought another canon because we already knew how to use canon printers. Printer is similar to our other canon mx870 we have and this printer is easy to use.

Previous, "old" printer was a Cannon, and died after 2 years. Not too happy about that. As I researched other brands, I wasn't seeing the functions my old printer had at the price point that I wanted. Went to store to see for myself, what the other brands looked like, I didn't want a large printer sitting on my desk, and to compare prices of machines & cartridges in person. Found this model, which uses the same cartridges of my old printer (right before my old printer died, I had stocked up on ink cartridges), and the price was reduced, as I believe it is being phased out. After using this printer for a couple of months, I am more then happy with it's functions & output. Happy I went into the store, instead of buying something online.

I have had HP printers in the past, but this Canon is far superior to any previous printer. It is fast, easy to set up, prints online or via my iPhone and iPad, and two-sided printing saves a lot of paper. Recommend this very highly!

Easy to set up, this all-in-one printer gives me everything I need for the home office, including duplex printing and auto document feeder. I had to replace a 7 year old earlier model that finally gave out (and was getting harder to find ink for). This newer model allows for wireless set-up and to print directly from mobile devices. And the sale price made this purchase a bargain! The only drawback of this model (like its predecessor) is a slightly larger foot print than other makes.

Good print quality. Like the Quick Menu, which I added to my desktop for easy access to things like the print queue among other things. The Quick Menu can be easily customized with desired feature icons and moved in a personalized order. Setup is easy but recommend manual setup with wireless wifi password, rather than automatic connection. Ink price is comparable. A plus is that the ink cartridge setup allows the printer to continue printing if one color is out. There is an option for two black ink cartridges to help conserve colors when not needed. Draft print quality is pretty good, which helps conserve ink when better quality is not needed. I keep the preferences set to draft quality and change to better quality as needed, which is easy enough to do quickly. Scanning is easy, and you can set up the folder you want the scan docs to be saved in (and rename and move them to other folders later if desired). Only negative I can think of is that it takes too long to "warm up" or reset, kind of annoying. But, I turn my printers off each day. This might not be an issue if the printer is left on to allow it go into "sleep" mode, which might not require warm up or reset. All in all, a decent printer, and it got many good reviews. There were a number of negative reviews, but I determined that the good reviews outweighed the negative. Overall, I am satisfied with this printer in the few months I have owned it.

This was a replacement printer for my canon 620 series printer which worked well but needed the wireless update along with two sided printing and fax. Although a little on the large size it works well for what I needed it to do

Best value I've ever seen in a printer. Cost $200 when first released but only $65 for Black Friday. Photos are quality, text is quality, fax and scan, all business worthy. Ink a bit pricy but with 15% off at BB always you can't miss. Canon builds to last, this printer no exception, Kudos!

This Printer has lived up to all our expectations. It's fast and very easy to use. We use it for home usage, but it can instantly be used for office use. The prints are very clear. I would defiantly recommend this printer.

Returned an HP product for this product. This is a user friendly printer/scanner/fax. Wirelessly connected easily and is used every day for 40 to 200 pages without issue.

Second one of these I ordered. My first died after about two years. Was going to replace the printhead but a new unit is lower cost. I've had lots of printers over the years and this one is fairly good. Not perfect but it prints reasonably well and will print with third party ink. The ink is really cheap and works fantastic in this thing. My family thought I was nuts for ordering a second unit but after having had so many complete fails (Samsung Color Laser was a disaster with less than a year) I gave it a second chance. Working well and I'm used to the quirks now. I assign it a fixed IP address and that eliminates 90% of the issues with the printer not online or can't find the printer issues.

Set this printer up with ease. I'd buy another one if I needed another printer. Does all I need and more. Very easy to print pictures from my phone. Excellent picture printing! Best quality photos from any printer I've owned.
