Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the PIXMA MX922's print quality, ease of use, and wireless functionality. Many appreciate its convenient fax capabilities and straightforward setup process. However, some users noted that the printer can be noisy and that the paper tray could be improved. A few also mentioned occasional issues with reliability and slow warm-up times.

I work from home and use this device all the time. Easy to set up and works great. No complaints I'm just reserving my 5 rankings for items I'm blown away by. Would totally recommend

I had cartridges from the 1st one so for $79. it was cheaper to get another one. 1st one lasted 4 years. The final problem was unfix-able. I stopped using recycled paper as it tended to jam. It had broken previously but I was always able to restart and resume. Not this time. Support tells you to get it repaired-ha, ha-for more than the price of the machine! Good for about two years I'd say. Go to Ebay for cheaper ink. Malfunctions are often software not mechanical. Not good for photos but okay for office b/w printing and scanning. I would recommend this to a friend if it were super discounted-like $60

I bought the Canon MX922 to replace my canon MX892 which lasted for over 4 yrs. The two printers are similar but my old printer had better wireless printing software. After two months of usage, the printer is working just fine. No complaints.

Replaced my HP which suddenly stopped printing black after two years. So far so good with the Canon. It was fairly easy to establish the connection with the computer and WiFi. Prints documents well but a little slow. I haven't tried photos yet.

This was purchased for my mom as a replacement for her HP printer. After her HP Photosmart printer of almost 2 years stopped printing black (even after replacing the black cartridge and cleaning the ink jet), we decided to go with another HP (the HP - Photosmart 5520 Wireless All-In-One Printer) but experienced repeated paper jams after a day or two of owning the new HP printer. After going on online and reading reviews about the 5520 printer and other HP printers, we decided to try the Canon MX 922 printer which didn't seem to have significant negative reviews (which for a printer product was an encouraging sign to buy this printer). Although my mom hasn't owned the printer very long, and she still has to get used to the differences between it and her old HP printer, my opinion from having set up this printer for her is that it's a great printer so far... and is definitely the one I'll buy for myself when my HP printer dies. I give it 5 stars because we haven't owned it long enough to rank it 5 stars, but my hunch is that it is worth the 5 stars when compared to other unreliable printers sold today. Oh, and it has a real fax line and not the PC fax that other multifunction printers have sold for years as "fax" capability. Also, the printer's display is not touch screen, but the buttons around the screen probably work more reliably than touch screen buttons would anyway...and in my opinion is not a big deal breaker. The device also comes with an automatic document feeder to support automatic 2-sided copying if you need it, and the device also supports automatic 2-sided printing which is nice too. I haven't commented on the wireless connection, because we connected up this device using a physical cable to the computer.

The printer works as advertised thus far. No problems have come up, yet. There seem to be more than an average number of self-maintenance delays in the printing process at times.

We use this printer wirelessly from 3 different laptops, an iphone and an ipad. It works great. I have not had the chance to print a photo yet, but plan to soon. It is bigger than I thought, was not paying attention to size when I was doing research. I was focused on getting a printer with separate ink cartridges and a copier that could enlarge/reduce. The enlarge/reduce feature is limited to presets, a little disappointing, but can work with it.

I didn't like the looks of the new Canon printers, so the Best Buy tech recommended this one. It is very similar to my older Pixma MG5200 and has several features I like that the old one didn't. There are 2 paper trays, one for photo paper and one for copy/print paper. The front drops down when you print. It is a little big and since it is on my desk in a recessed space, you can't raise the lid all the way to copy something but it raises enough to slide the item in and position it

Overall, a great value for the price with scanning, photo, printing, fax capabilities. Two trays are unique with ability to hold a ream of 8 x 11 paper or various sizes for specialized printing and photos.

I bought this printer after speaking to a Best Buy rep in the store. It was listed at $127 (+/-) and when I got home I noticed the next day it was on sale for $67 +/-. I immediately ordered it and am very satisfied with operation.

The printer works great for my wife's I-Pad. She can print directly from her I-Pad to this printer. We have two printers on the network. This one seemed a little disjointed in the set-up, but it works. However if I switch my lap top to the other printer on the network and go back to this Canon printer it doesn't recognize me. We have to turn it off and turn it on again so we can see the printer on the network. Seems strange, and it also seems strange that we didn't have to use the wireless password to use h]this printer on our wireless network.
