I have always been a canon fan. This printer brings funtionality and ease if use to a new level. The inclusiin of fax, scanner and duplexer makes this all in one a great buy for any home office

This printer replaces a Canon ink jet that I have had for about 6 years. So far this printer exceeds my expectations. It is very well made and reasonably quiet. Printing is extremely easy whether by hard wire or Wi-Fi. Scanning works flawlessly. I have not tried faxing yet. My only concern is the substantial amount of ink that the printer uses, even when you are not printing a document. Other than that, this is a great printer for home or home/office needs.

Printer was easy to set up. It prints wirelessly from your home network. Also very useful for printing from smart phones. Print quality is great. Love the duplex printing. Saves a lot of paper.

No problems setting it up and no problems connecting it to my computer to print wireless. Instructions were good and quality of print has been fine for what I've done so far.

I chose this printer because of the visual buttons on the face of it. But I also chose it for it's other features like wireless connection etc. The printer was well packaged, no damage to it. and was relatively easy to set up physically. The only problem I had was the installation process. Luckily their customer service was amazing at troubleshooting and turns out my issue was less likely to happen than any other printer of the same make model. but it got set up and is quiet and efficient.

The printer does everything it is supposed. If there is any downside it is the size (pretty large) and the speed (printing is pretty slow). Other than that I am happy with my purchase, everything works well and has quality.

Great print quality and fast. I also like the fact that I am able to directly print onto CDs and DVD. One issue I have noticed is that setting onto your home network it has an issue with multiple computers access. If you print from one computer and then try to print to another home computer you will get a message stating printer is in use by another machine. it will not work unless you manually clear the Print Spooler. The price and the print quality makes up for the annoyance.

Good printer for the money. Has lots of features that I will probably never use. This Canon replaced an old HP inkjet and I thought it would fit in the same place but it was a little too big so I had to find another home for it.

This was a great price for a excellent machine! I sue it for edible ink and the self cleaning is amazing and the it connects to my computer wireless. I give it 2 thumbs up!!

This is a great printer for everyday home use for printing documents and pictures. I am very please with the low price, high quality and ease of use

I've only printed a few things but the quality is good. Set-up was pretty easy. It is quite large so take that into account.

Much better than any HP laser jet printer but the instruction manual was rather badly written and didn't give much help on the finer points of operation. Still, great value on a printer that does quite a lot for the money.

Replaced older Canon printer that died after many years, similar but with excellent wi fi that freed me from keeping it wired to the desktop pc. Chose over newer Canons after their mixed reviews (except for photo printing which I rarely use) and cost of ink for other brands. Ink cost wise no question Canon with after market 251 ink is the least expensive Like look of older Canons versus new box ones as well and need to leave paper tray open on newer ones.

Thjis is a very good printer. It is easy to set up, gives great prints, including photos, and also scans. I have not used the fax option. I would recommend this printer to anyone.

Best buy price matched amazon so I got it for $149 instead of $199 which was great. Then about 11 days later they put it on sale for $129. So I went back and had them price match their own price. Nice. Their new 14 day price matching policy makes price matching really tight. Anyway, the printer does great job as a business/photo printer. We switched to Canon a decade+ ago from Epson and never looked back. The last canon ink jet lasted a decade! Good work, Canon.

I bought this printer for my 90 year old mother because of my past very positive experiences with Canon MFP. The clincher for the deal was the AirPrint for Apple devices. She uses her laptop for writing, but mostly uses her Apple iPad and iPhone for web surfing, email, etc. The printer was super easy to setup, including AirPrint. This feature makes it easy for her to print coupons or whatever. She also uses the copier a lot.

(Haven't hooked up the fax, so I can't comment on that.) Love that it duplexes. Ink is expensive. Colors could be brighter. A bit noisy. But it has worked dependably so far. Good on-screen displays.

I replaced my old printer which quit scanning with my new Canon printer,copy scan, fax machine. I love all the additional features my old printer did not have like making multiple copies and being able to make adjustments to what I am printing of scanning. It is much faster than my old printer.

So far, so good! Has the printer about 2 months, and the quality is excellent. The ease of use is also great. We'll see how long the print cartridges last.

I have always been a fan of CANON printers. When my previous MX 922 started giving me error messages which wouldn't go away after changing the cartridges, considering it had given me fault-free good quality service (copying and printing) for about 4 yrs, I decided to get a replacement. It recognized my Wifi easily and has been doing print jobs very well. One issue some people may have with this printer is the time it takes sometimes to get the cartridges ready in between jobs.
