Overall quite satisfied. Trying to see if it uses less ink as the salesperson suggested. Was told ink might be a bit cheaper. Interesting concept is that there are two blacks, one to go with the color and one not, seems like interesting concept.

Decent option for a home office or small office printer under the right conditions. This is a very good quality and versatile 3-in-1 printer. I had a prior model pixma and bought this due to the consistency of design and functionality, as well as getting upwards of 6.5 years without any real issues on the old design. That is the upside. On the opportunity list, some of the drawbacks of older models remain in the updated version. 1) This printer takes considerable que time to process a print job. Going from sleep mode to actual printing of a basic low graphic word document over a wireless network could take up to 2 minutes, longer for higher resolution pictures, multiple pages, etc. A little faster if the printer is already awake. 2) The basic keypad is a little clunky but easy to learn and use. 3) Quiet mode is not so quiet. Do not buy this printer if you are a work from home parent sharing an office with a little one. Between the que time of initiating the print heads pre and post print job, this printer leaves quite a bit to be desired in this category. Again, this is a good quality 3-in-1 printer for the right conditions.

Excellent price for a great printer. Only gripe I have is the ink doesn't last and is quite costly to replace unless you buy after-market replacement ink cartridges I have yet to order and try.

Printer works great nice and smooth color. Rather difficult to keep it connected wirelessly. The majority of the functions have to go through the computer however that is the way things are done now.

So far I've used the scanner and copier and the unit seems to work fine. I haven't used the FAX yet. It's a very inclusive device for a reasonable cost. Wireless connectivity is great (but could sacrifice privacy). Problem - you'd better be able to figure things out yourself. There are no instructions with it. You need to go on-line and download the manual and even then, directions are very general and hard to follow. I wouldn't recommend this to a non-technical person.

Really, I hate new technology. All I have learned was necessary, not because I wanted too. This printer is truly easy to operate and beautiful results. Wish I had tried it earlier!

We have used this printer for pictures and documents, and so far I'm very impressed. The only issue we have run into is that the default on our desktop is set to fax, so every time we try to print from that computer, it tries to fax the document. We haven't taken the time to figure out how to change the default. We also have not used the scan function yet, so I can't comment on that.

I had the same model printer for several years. It was ok. Eventually it stopped working and was cheaper to replace than repair. I purchased the same model because I had lots of back stock of printer cartridges for this model printer.

Only problem with start up was when printing pic from my iPhone it would go directly to the top tray where I could only print on reduced size paper. Once I got help from the internet it works great, but felt the start up instructions should have dealt with this.

But glad I did. My beloved Brother printer had died. Had for a long time, in printer years. Went to find another. Alas, no longer in stock. Saw this Canon with a few more features than the Brother. Know Canon for respectable cameras. The printer was $100 off. Liked the look and color. Not so industrialized. Gave it a shot and now 3 weeks later, still really like, after considerable usage. And still using ink packed in original printer packaging. A hint: usually set on fast. Print is a tad lighter but still looks good.

I really like the wireless nature of this printer/scanner...it allows it to be placed anywhere in the room. However, if it isn't used for a few days, it is no longer recognized by the local network and needs to be setup again. Maybe it is a network problem more than a printer problem, but it's unreliability can be annoying.

I've tried a bunch of different brands to use with my macbook, like HP. This brand of printer seemed to have great airplay compatibility for my mac. It prints a little slow, but overall works well.

Nice printer the color is very good the only thing I would say is that it takes to long to print.. If you can deal with that then this one is for you because everything else about it is great

Bought this AIO printer on sale for about $65. Fax, copier, printer. Have not used the fax feature. Prints great quality photos quickly. MUCH better quality than my Epson it replaced. Only 4 stars because Text documents took a little longer than expected and it takes a LONG time to process before it prints (over WiFi). Haven't tried CD printing or connecting via a cable to see if the load time is reduced. But overall, very pleased.

This printer has been out there a while with good reason. Consumer Reports rated it one of their highest rated picks. I personally had trouble getting the Wi-Fi to work, but I need a new Wi-Fi router. The printer was a little slow to warm up - faster than a full sized business copier of course, but slower than older standard inkjets I've owned.

I used to have the Canon pixma MX860. It worked well, though a bit slow, and took a lot of ink. I needed something that would print from my ipad and iphone so I traded up to the mx922. It works great! It's also faster than its predecessor. The other bonus is that Canon has a super support policy. The downside, of course, is how much ink is used and the cost. Oh well, what doesn't cost these days? Best Buy was knowledgeable and affirmed my choice based on my needs.

I haven't used the ones I purchased yet as I already have one in use. For general use it is probably as good as any other and better than quite a few I have tried. The NON OEM ink I use is as good or better than the original Canon ink. Extremely reasonably prices on ink refills. Original cartridges that come with the printer have very little ink. The ones I use have quite a lot more than OEM type. Prints excellent pictures, also has all the other features a home office needs. Scan, copy, fax, USB reader etc.
