Big drawback is the noise it makes when starting a print. Nice looking but bulky. Print is good.

Our old printer broke and we needed a new one fast. This Canon model was recommended and we have not been disappointed. Easy set up with our WiFi and great printing quality. N

I needed a printer I liked better than my Epson. This has a better paper-loading drawer, better operating button arrangement, better scanning and printing and easy to change out ink, which can be done separately so when you run out of black, you don't have to change all the colors, too.. Beware of ink that comes with the printer, though - it squirted all over and just luckily didn't ruin my wood desk (had papers underneath by chance).

Printer is very versatile with individual color ink tanks, basic scanning functions as well as wireless printing. Make this a very capable printer. Only negative is slightly larger footprint.

Easy to use and good quality copy. Told sales person what I wanted, quality copy and easy scanning, and this is what they recommended.

First printer had damage to the box. It made an awful sound. Returned the original for a new replacement. It works great. Canon always has great software for the printer. This is the one to buy.

Originally wanted an Epson (on sale) but salesman pressured me into the Canon, telling me that it was the only low cost model that came with full cartridges, This is blatantly untrue, it comes with set up cartridges. And this printer uses FIVE cartridges. Less than 3 weeks of home use and I had to replace a cartridge. So, it's a cheap printer with very expensive cartridges. too late for me to return but won't buy at Best Buy again because of the inappropriate sales pressure. Weird, because printer was only $100 and the Epson I wanted was more expensive.

This Canon inkjet PIXMA replaced an old PIXMA unit with 8 years of service. New unit cost less than old and comes with more features.

I've owned this product for over a year now and I love it. It prints, copies and scans wonderfully. I have not used the fax function yet however. For the money, you can't go wrong with this product. Some additional features such as handling a wider range of paper sizes would've been nice but I'm sure the price would've been higher. The only real complaint I have is that the ink cartridges are small so they tend to run out fast.

Love love this printer much better than my last one. Prints fast and fax is good and have much better features. This is a must have!

this thing Prints like the dickens, and it does front and back. The picture quality is superb, with the special paper it looks like a glossy from the photo shop. Just plug this puppy in and it connected to my printer and the wife and kids PC saw it right away and connected. I had the old 800 series, this one is lighter and has a smaller size.

This printer,fax,scanner is a great item. Prints beautifully, even photos! Easy set up and the wireless feature is an added bonus.

Lots of features and easy to set up and use. It is great printer for all what I need from multi-function machine. It prints quickly with high quality output.

This product works well. We has an 800 series that had an easier on screen use panel but it works well once you get used to the new set up.

I would have given it 4stars if the install cd/software was good enough. It just hogs the space, eats RAM and doesn't do any good. There are 100's of better softwares than the ones that comes in with the box. This one is not at all user friendly. Plus the install process is not streamlined. I Uninstalled the software and just used the Mac built in drivers for printing and scanning. Not a fast way to do it but better than using the Canon one. Printer does make noise when printing or even scanning. The only comforting factor is the price I paid for it.

Setup was relatively easy, with a few oddities in trying to connect wirelessly. Ended up just connecting via USB for a few days, then tried again with wireless and was then successful.

Was looking for a replacement for our worn out HP inkjet that wouldn't feed paper anymore. Great reviews on this printer, plus Canon individual inks made it a no-brainer. Has stood up to regular use as both printer and scanner.
