I would give this a 5 star, but I do not like the fact that all ink jet printers eventually fill their waste tank (which most people do not know about) and stop working. It costs too much to replace the tank, and they end up in the landfill. Other than that, this is a good printer. It installs easy if you follow the instructions in the setup instruction manual. I have mine on a wired network and it assigned an IP and was easily found. The speed is decent. The only down fall I could see so far is that when you want to print envelopes, you have to remove the paper in the tray and load envelopes. It isn't a big deal, but it has two trays. It would have been nice if the second tray had an envelope option. When aligning the print head after first install, load the special paper in the bottom tray (which is not as noticeable as the middle tray). The bottom tray loads regular paper and the mid tray seems to be for smaller papers (photo paper size). I wish the mid tray had more paper size options.

    EZ Setup

This printer is easy to setup and works well. During setup the only trick is to press "Done" on the keypad after entering the WiFi password. The printer is slow to initialize and print the first page if it hasn't been used for a while but then works quickly. All inks are in separate cartridges. Instructions that come with the printer are adequate for setup. This printer needs sufficient room in front to accommodate the drop-down output shelf.

Bought this printer for my son as he needed a new one for high school. Reliable, easy set up and awesome prints! I've had canon printers for years and no one beats their customer service!

I was looking for an all-purpose printer for use while away from my home office for several months. Thanks to positive reviews and a fantastic promotion from Best Buy, I chose the Canon Pixma MX922. The printer has a hefty weight and solid construction despite the amount of plastic in its build. (I chose store pick-up in order to reduce the amount of handling the printer was exposed to prior to set-up. Note: Canon has reduced the chance of potential damage by paying great attention to securing all moving pieces.) My biggest worry is the sturdiness of the front panel which folds down to become the print receiver platform. It's no doubt fine with careful use but keep the kids away! The paper capacity is relatively small but perfectly suitable if printing demand is not high. In the month since purchasing the printer I've only printed letter-sized documents so can't attest to the quality of photo prints. For my needs thus far, the print quality is excellent. I use a wireless connection and set up was extremely easy. At first, I thought the printer was rather slow to respond to my printing instructions but it seems to be getting faster with use. The duplex printing feature is a definite paper saver. Overall, I am very pleased with this printer and its performance and so am giving it 5 stars.

I have always had an HP Photosmart printer which I do love. I found myself needing to replace my printer and was convinced to try the Canon MX-922. It is wireless which is great, the print quality is amazing too. I would recommend this printwr.

The new printer is fast and easy to operate. Wireless printing from computer or Ipad. Canon produces great color pictures and quiet operation. Glad I selected another Canon quality product.

Great printer! Works as advertised. A slew of features. I have used it for scanning, copying, and printing photos/documents. It does have separate ink cartridges since it is a Canon. They come fully-loaded (not DEMO filled). There is a separate black for documents and a photo black. I love the feeder tray for making copies like a professional business-class printer. My only qualm is that the wifi printing takes a long-time under Mac OS. The printer spools and gets ready for a few minutes before it prints. Under Windows, the spooling is less noticeable under wifi. Prints instantly when hooked up through a standard printer cable. Easy to install. I bought it for $130 when it was on sale. I've seen Amazon have a deal on it previously for $80. It was totally worth the $130 I paid for it.

This printer is great. It prints effortless and with clarity. It was easy to set up, connect to my wireless router, as well as my computer. I followed the instructions to do this as it explains how to set up and connect to my wireless system. It works wonderfully and I have had no issues with it not printing off my computer. I researched this printer before I bought it and read all the reviews for it and decided it was a good deal. If you want to print items through a wireless system this printer will do the job.

    Great Printer For Home Office

This is the perfect printer for a home office. It will work great for the kids with projects, the stay at home mom with crafting on her mind or the very busy father that takes his work home with him. The photo printing ability is insane, not to mention it has google cloud print capability as well as AirPrint and other mobile printing abilities. I have always been a fan of the Canon printers particularly the PIXMA line but this one is probably the best. The only thing I have to say about it that isn't necessarily good is that it is a big or bulky printer compared to other all-in-on printers. But in its defense the other printers' quality can't compare to this.

Print Quality: above average / Photo Printing: Well above average / Speed: above average / Features: excellent / Time it takes to recycle its self or what ever it does between printing: OBNOXIOUSLY POOR! If you can get past the long cleaning time between printings it is a great printer for the price. The ink usage I have not rated yet. If I find out that the cleaning process is using ink I will have to give it a 3 star rating because it goes thru this process more and longer that I think is nessessary.

This printer is easy to install. Printing is fast! Scanning is easy using the software that is provided. And it creates smaller files than previous versions of this printer. Only issue would be learning all the new icons and how they work.

Printer is GREAT. I have had a LOT of Canons, they all suffer one issue which I DO NOT LIKE- Every time you power them up they go several minutes of cleaning and starting checks. If you never turn them off, they will print almost immediately, but from Power on your looking at 3-5 minutes before they begin to print. That being said, they still are the best printers I have ever owned, prints are great and fast (Besides the previously mentioned power on issues). Color prints are beautiful. Does everything I want and My Pixma Pro 10 does my Professional Phot Prints spectacularly.

This All-In-One has been around for a few years, but you can't beat it's quality at any price. The copy resolution is superb. The multiple ink tanks (and the fact that it's a Canon) help keep the operating costs in line. The ONLY downside to this All-In-One is it's size... It takes up a lot of space in a tight office. This is the forth one of these that I have put in service for myself and friends. For this purchase, I did try another model (Canon) because it was smaller. The copy and print quality just weren't good enough even though it cost more. These Canon MX920's are great!
