We went it looking for a basic printer. We didn't need all the extra stuff that printers offer but as we were browsing we saw that this printer was 50% off so we went for it. We've had it for a couple of months and it's AMAZING. The fact that it has a slot for regular paper and picture paper is great. Quality is great. Doesn't look cheap at all. Pictures come out really good.

Rock solid wireless printer by Canon. If you print a lot of envelopes you may find the process a little cumbersome though.

After removing the printer from the box and setting it up, the wifi option was top on the list to arrange. That happened very quickly and effectively.

This printer is a great bang for your buck all in one. only negative for this and most inkjets is the cost to replace ink.

The general print quality and functionality is very good, hence I stay with this brand which is priced very competitively with other brands. Previously, I've owned 2 Canon printers and both developed failed printer heads. I do like the separate ink tanks, but this may be my last Canon if this printer fails in the next 2 years.

Full features including duplex; setup is a bit more complex than the average HP product, but HP is making junk recently.

I replaced my 10 yr. old camera and suddenly I needed a new printer. This handles all conventional "hard copy" needs with excellent quality. I have used the CD print function and find it perfect. Just use a clear jewel case to see what you have. This also replaces my old flatbed scanner. It will also copy and fax. (I have not tried the fax yet.) It's footprint is small. It is quiet and actually a joy to use. If I weren't so cheap I would be printing all the time with this. It is just that good. And I love the wireless networking. I can print (or anything else) from where ever I am at the time. I have probably forgotten to mention other great features or areas (like all this for the price). I've chalked-up the negative comments I read else where as totally unfounded.

Printer was easy to setup and install (wireless). Documents print quickly and excellent quality.

I bought this printer to print some documents at home. I like that ink cartridges are separated each colors. A problem I have is that extra blank papers come out sometime when I print documents. I almost returned this item but I purchased 2 years replacement plan so I decided to see if it keeps happening.

This printer is fairly solid at performance with a nice appearance and easy set up. Comes with great tips and online help manual. Doesn't have a single sheet feeder to use for printing checks although it is possible to print checks through the regular paper feeder.

It's slow to start, a bit noisy, and shows finger prints, but otherwise we're very happy with this printer, especially at the sale price. Ink is also cheaper than our previous HP printer. Love the two-sided printing capability. Overall the Canon - PIXMA MX922 is a nice addition to our home office.

Having not had a printer at home for a long time, I was excited to make this purchase. Focus was on getting a wireless printer that allowed to print from all devises. Unfortunately, with little time to put into figuring out how to set it up, I have had difficulty in that area. Still not completely happy with the set-up as much as I am with just having a printer again. Had to get help from a friend to point me in the right direction for being able to get my laptop to print. It was frustrating figuring out how to get it set-up to print from my phone and tablet. Still haven't figured out how/if I can get my hubby's phone to print to it as well. (I am Android, he is iPhone.) I also still have not figured out how to get it to print out of the top tray with the 4x6 photo paper in it. This aspect of it has seemed a little less than user friendly, but again, time-wise, I really needed something that was plug in and go.

Not sure if this is a Cannon issue or Windows 10 issue, but these 2 are not compatible. Regular error messages that printer is off-line (it's not), etc. Odd that there is a copy, scan, and fax button, but not a 'printer-mode' button. Setting up the wireless printing seems more complicated than it should be.

I bought the printer for my daughter who is preparing to live fro college in Fall. She is ecstatic about the design, multi-functionality and efficiency of the printer.

appreicate how easy it is to use and great print quality

My old MX922 died (lower paper feeder failed, after 2? years) and I needed a replacement immediately because we used it quite often for office and kid's school works. Originally I intended to buy a newer generation PIXMA or other brand printer. When I found that the new PIXMA printers use new type of ink cartridges which are very expensive, I decided to stay with MX922 at this time. MX922 has all the functionalities I want (LAN, FAX, paper feeder etc.) and its price (especially ink's cost) is reasonable. In the minus side, it is loud and frequently gets busy by itself (self cleaning?). We found sometimes have to wait several minutes for prints. Ink clogs occurred many times in the past years and it took a lot of ink to unclog. Maybe it is a consequence of using cheap ink cartridges...

I purchased the printer because I had the earlier version and it was a great printer. No problems with paper jams, easy setup for Wifi. I would strongly recommend.
