Bought this for my daughter in college. Does everything she could want except fully set it self up to the network. She had to get an IT person from the school to link her wireless set up for her MAC. Home network seems much easier. Once set up it runs like a dream.

I did extensive online research before buying this printer. It has many features and basically works well if you only want to copy and print in black and white. However, I really needed this printer to produce excellent quality color printouts and I am extremely dissatisfied. I am not at all the type to leave a negative review and I usually give things the benefit of the doubt. So for me to be saying this, it has meaning. The colors that print out on this printer make the pictures look like they've begun the fading-in-the-sun process. I had WAY better color saturation from a cheap freebie HP printer I got with my last computer purchase eight years ago. I will probably keep this printer for the black and white capabilities and to avoid the hassle of the return process. This means the search is on for a good color printer again, and all the time and cost that incurs. NOT a happy camper, and expected WAY better from CANON. Will not be getting a Canon again. Sorry.

Initial setup took more time than I expected, instructions need simplification and clarity. Scanning and 2 sided printing worked well.

It was really easy to set up my new all in one printer. When setting it up, I selected the wired connection to my old desktop computer (that doesn't have a wireless card). I can't locate the instructions on setting up wireless once I've already set it for wired. That is my only concern about this printer. The print quality is great.

The Canon MX922 All-In-One printer does everything you could possibly need - print, copy, scan, fax, and create borderless photos. It uses 5 individual ink cartridges which is great for just replacing only the color that is depleted. It also has a Automatic Document Feeder and does 2 sided scan and print. The paper tray holds 250 sheets of paper.

Needed a printer as the old one died. Comfortable with Canon and still had leftover ink, so I dashed to Best Buy and bam! just like that I walked out with a new printer, home to set it up in a snap and I was back in business, Couldn't be happier or more please - great associate helping only made the experience that much better! A++

Wireless printing is essential for me. It allows everyone in the house to print whether it be from a phone, laptop, or tablet. It’s far more convenient than everyone trying to get to a single PC to print. The autodocument feeder is another bonus especially when you are scanning large amounts at a time.

I switched from an HP all-in-one. User interface on the Canon is much better. It's slow to warm up at the beginning of the day.
Check on-line prices before buying in the store -- $25 difference when I bought.

I really like this printer. Everything comes out crisp and looking good. My only complaint it that it takes a few minutes to connect to it when you first turn it on and connect to it through a wireless connection. So just make sure it is on and ready before you want to print.

Besides lacking a rear document feeder, this has at least the same functionality as the printer its replacing, the mx822, which was a fairly decent printer. I haven't tried all the bells and whistles, but it does print from my "smart" phone, which it turns out is pretty handy.

I love these canon printers. They use the replacement ink I use and keep on working great! Already referred one to a friend and she likes it, too!

Since I only intended to use the print on disc function during the holidays, I returned this for an Epson which had a much smaller footprint.

Canon makes good gear. Unit was easy to set up and get running. I don’t use the fax function but the copy, scan and print functions all operate well. Has a separate tray for loading photo size paper which works well. Would rate cartridge life as average.

I presently do not have any experience with the usage rate of ink cartridges. A low usage rate will mean it is a good product.
