If you are serious about printing your work and you can afford to print, then this printer is for you. It is on the large and heavy side compared to a average printer but for the cost, it's the best money can buy. Major plus if you shoot canon

This Canon Pro 100 does an extremely good job bringing out the colors and vibrancy of the photo’s it prints. With the Canon $200 rebate you have nothing to lose. Only downside is size and weight of the printer.

Be warned: this guy is big and heavy. Aside from that, the set up was a breeze. I went from unboxing to printing in about 20 minutes. Wireless setup included. Pictures come out amazing and the speed is pretty good overall.

I was torn between the pro-10 (pigmant) and this pro-100. Finally settled on this and am thrilled. Followed some online guides for printing a reference photo and then adjusting the monitor (was set waaaay too bright) and now what I see is what is printed. Got a sampler paper pack and love the pro luster.
Printing photos isn't cheap. And this printer is only for printing photos that are display quality.
Experimenting with processing in lightroom and printing small test prints until I get exactly the effect I want is fun. Like having a darkroom.
Have taken a bunch of prints and put on my bulletin board in my office... everyone is shocked when I say I printed them.
Watch some youtube videos about successfully using this awesome printer. There is one fellow who has a huge number of helpful videos.

There is quality here. If you follow the instructions (they're easy) and take time to print quality photos, the you will be impressed. I was concerned there may be a need to configure or "color-match" the printer to the PC screen. I did no such thing and still got very high quality prints, both B&W, sephia, and full color. It's not super fast, but if you're shopping a printer like this one, then you are not shopping for print speed. Experiment with different paper types and see what you like. Part of the overall artistic process is delivering a print you feel great about. I would recommend to a friend! Thanks for reading.

Setup of the product was problematic. It ships with CDs for setup of apple and pc, but what if you have no CD player? Setup software on Canon’s website is not clearly identifiable, so finding the right file to download is problematic. Canon should do a better job. Also, if there is an automatic way to update the software, I did not find it. But once set up, the prints are fantastic! I thought about returning the printer during the setup process, but once it was set up and printing I decided there was no way I would ever give it up. Plus the iOS print app is crazy easy to use. So, definitely a keeper!

This machine is a beast at 43 lbs and it takes up a lot of space...it is big. But it is solidly built and should last a long time. The wireless setup did not go well u til I hooked it up with a cable. It then went through the setup without a hitch. Take the time to setup the printer correctly and you will be rewarded with beautiful prints. This unit is probably not a good choice for the occasional photo print but if you use it frequently or are a high volume printer, , you will be pleased with the ability to have your photos turn out looking the way YOU want them to rather than how the photo lab thinks they should be

When the printer was first delivered by the poor postman, I was blown away at the size and weight of the machine, but I had read so many great things about it, I was going to find out if these reviews were true -- and the were.
Set up was a cinch -- after I found just the right place for the behemoth. I printed out some samples of text and colored graphs, and they were excellent.
I then proceeded to print out some 8.5x11 photos, which is what I bought the printer for, and they were superb. The colors on the prints were exactly the same as on my computer screen. This is something I have not experienced to such a degree with my HPs nor my Epsons -- and I have owned quite a few. The printer does seem rather thirsty, but that is something I will have to get accustomed to since photography is what I do.
I have yet to find out how to work the large sheets and so forth, but I will in time.
So far I am delighted.
One thing over which I am puzzled is that there was supposed to be a rebate until the end of December. I tried to get on the site, but without success. I e-mailed the company, but they have not returned my queries. I hope they hurry up before the offer expires in just a couple of days!!

The Canon Pixma Pro 100 is large and heavy, but it is worth every inch and pound. The setup was quick, easy, and clear ( I am using ethernet connection). The print quality is excellent. I am working primarily in B&W at this time, and the quality of B&W prints I am getting is exceptional. I haven't really tested color print quality yet ( I will soon). I could not be happier about choosing this printer.

After having my pixma pro 100 for a few weeks I have printed several prints ranging from wallets up to 8x10 . Prints have all been flawless and better than most professional ones I was ordering . I have used pro luster and pro matte finish papers for my prints . I have use garbage HP everyday photo paper for my son for a school project and it came out suprisingly good . Most definitely worth the money if you are a professional photographer or hobbyist with the extra funds

I honestly don't know how to feel about this printer. First, it is huge. Not exactly great for a small office or space. Second, I have had it now for months and while I can't complain about the quality of photos (I am extremely picky about the color and clarity), I am still not sure whether they are as good as the photos I printed with my old printer (which died and sadly is irreplaceable with the same item). I am not quite sure the color matches my computer, in both hue and brightness (though, I have learned to turn the brightness of my computer down and then am happier with my photos). Also, in all the time I've had it, I still can't figure out how to clean it. It is very confusing in the directions. I've printed my own photos for over 15 years now and used to have no problem with my old printer (so I do know how to read instructions and follow them); however, these instructions are just not clear and are hard to really follow ("when the light blinks slowly two times, do... when it blinks fast ... hold it for 2 seconds, no longer..."). Really? I settled. That is basically all I can say. I did try other printers and this one did seem the best for quality. But do be prepared to wonder if you'll ever be able to clean it, let along deal with any problems that may arise when printing.

I didn’t realize how much I was struggling to print on card stock before this printer. It’s much larger than I expected, but the results are worth the weight. This is not for everyday printing. I’m still using my all-in-one printers for the office printing and copying. But this Canon makes beautiful projects!

Excellent printer for professional artwork. Whether printing source photos for painting/drawing or replicating prints of original artwork, this printer is easy to use. Toner is expensive, but has lasted for many jobs. Highly recommended for a higher quality process.

This printer is a workhorse. Definitely worth the money if you need high quality prints. I wasn’t sure if it would pan out for me but I can’t complain. The set up was fairly easy. The WiFi set up was a bit of a pain but once I got things linked it was a breeze.

This machine is big so if you lack space in your office or studio keep that in mind besides the size of the machine, we haven’t experience any negatives with the printer, are printer is used to print illustrations and it does the job very well colors are bright and crips, ink usages will be different for everyone but after about 80 prints we are still at around 60% in all colors.

The quality is unlike anything you can imagine. What I love most is that the sizes extend to 13x19. Check for rebates with canon, I got 250 back so it is well worth the price. The only down side is the price of the replacement ink and the size of the printer is huge. But if you can get pass that then this printer will not disappoint!
