    I want to love this printer, but there hasn't been Ink available since I bought it 3 months ago...so if you need a printer you can use NOW, unfortunately this isn't for you. Canon doesn't seem to have any answer as to when it will be back in stock either. I've heard great things about it, hence why I spent the money on it.

    Since my older model decided to stop printing properly, the purchase was a no brainer, printer works as expected, and I’ve used this type of printer before, (older models though) and it is a good product.

    Setup was a breeze (following the directions). I had my first print in hand in minutes from the time I opened the box. Overall - 5 stars

    Print a lot of black and white. Picked this up and the first b&w appeared to have a strong color cast. Returned for the pixma pro 1000 and super happy with the results. Also, ink cartridges are tiny.

    So Expensive, Ink costs a fortune and ends very quickly, if one of the ink (in example cyan color) is finished, you cannot use the printer, even if you want black-white only, the printer will NOT work until you replace the Cyan cartridge. Quality of the photos is fair, but not outstanding. The connectivity to the printer, and any other user interface you wanna use is very cumbersome and not user-friendly. I definitely regret of buying this printer and looking to sell it.

    Good printer. But the ink is literally no where to be found. If you plan on buying it for commercial or high usage I would go with a different platform that has ink readily available. As of this date still nothing available.
