It's best for it's price, considering it's a colored printer. If you are a student, it's the perfect choice for you. It's very easy to set-up and operate as well.

During this unfortunate pandemic, making a makeshift home office quickly was necessary. This printer did not take up a lot of space. The online guides help with the fax, scan, and 2 sided duplicate copies capabilities. This is a good valued Canon printer. Blessings to you!

Great printer even after a year

With a little over a year of use with this product I am impressed by the print quality and ease of use for the app. You can still use the buttons on top of the printer to do the various functions you need it to do, but having the app makes it simple to use and print from your phone.

Positives: This is an all in one printer that's very easy to use. I would recommend it for students or anyone that only needs to print a couple documents or photos a year. It does monochrome black on regular paper super fast, and although color on photo paper does take forever, the results are just as great as a professional printer. It's a quiet machine and it's wifi capable. Printing through the app is a game changer. Negatives: two things. One, the scanner is low quality. I would not recommend using the scanner feature for any sort of art unless you plan to digitally edit afterwards, but it DOES produce legible documents. Two, expect paper jams and wasted ink. This thing gets HUNGRY. I've experienced jams in the beginning, middle, and end of projects. No matter how precisely you load it, how many prayers you make beforehand, you will experience jams.

Setup was very easy. It now prints from all my home computers and laptops. Have not tried printing from my iPhone but I do not have occasion to do so. Photo quality is great when printing on photo paper. Have tried both Canon papers and Red River papers. Pleased with all of them. Also very reasonably priced.

This printer is perfect for home use or for a student with limited space. Prints well and efficiently. Easy to set up and connect. Has document feeder for easy scanning of multiple pages to one pdf. Had to play with the options to print pictures (they were too dark at first) but once we got the options right, pictures printed well.

Good printer considering the price. Just needed an all-in-one printer that could handle simple printing jobs. The ink cartridges are reasonably priced as well. Wi-fi is a bit slow to set up considering the small screen and the keypad. Otherwise, setting up the printer itself and the program on your devices is relatively quick. Very convenient having the printer connected to your devices via wi-fi. Printing is loud and a bit slow. Haven't used much of the other features yet. However, the printer is good for what I need it for.

About this printer great price for what it does great quality but the set up was very difficult. I did not buy the cable so I had to set it up wirelessly with my computer but had to jump through hoops to find the software online in order for it to work with my computer. If it was more user friendly I would have given it 5 stars.

Works as designed. Quick & easy user friendly home printer. Have not tried the photo & copy potion of it yet. But print is clear view quality so I hope as well.

This printer is amazing. It's reasonable priced, it print, scans and emails. It is just what I needed for my small home office. I am unsure of the ink prices as I have yet to have to purchase it but it think they are about average priced as well.

This is a second Cannon Pixma that I have purchased. I keep one at our vacation home and one here down south. This printer works as advertised. Scan, copy and print are primarily what I use. Absolutely no complaints.

I seen this deal on the Best Buy app and immediately purchased it. I can now fax, copy, scan, and fax papers in my home. I would have to go to the library or Kinkos to fax or copy papers but now I’m saving money. It works great and easy to setup. Black is ok but it would be nice if it came in white, green, orange, or something cool.

Easier to set up than I had expected. Print quality is excellent. A little noisy, but I can live with it. I was pleased to discover that it prints two-sided. Haven't figured out how to scan from the control panel, but scanning from the computer is easy once I found the instructions in the manual.

Great prints and photos. Canon is very short on utility interface programs for fax and scan. Would have preferred a front-mounted, lighted display. Price is unbeatable

It was a good price and it does what I need it for. It's for the occasional printing job, so I am satisfied with a page here and there. It also came with ink, which was really what I needed when my other printer died on me right after I installed 4 new ink cartridges, so I ordered this. It works for me.

I purchased this for my parents. It was easy to setup, and has nice software on available that scan scan documents directly to my Android phone. It did save 3 pages scanned as 3 individual files on my phone. I'm not sure yet if I missed a feature or option that would have created it as 1 pdf file. I've had very good experiences with Cannon printer in the past. I have 2 Epsons and an HP with 2 boys in college. The Epson workforce was a bad purchase, it's constantly running out of ink and constantly requiring printer cleanings. The HP 8020 I have isa good printer, but often there webservice connectively fails for scan to email and I have to revert to a desktop software option and their HP Smart software. Also the HP 8020 also often requires a power off and power on for the out going fax to work, so the HP has software quirkiness. All these new printer have no flash drive ports which would make quick scans easy and problem circumventing faster. So far the Canon is the best of the 3 brands for me. Everything works as it's suppose to and the first try.
