nice printer for the money

WiFi connection between the computer and this printer model was very difficult and I needed help. The Canon Tech that I contacted did an excellent job of directing me through all the steps and I now have a WyFi connected printer.

"Save" menu is strange and troublesome. There is a place to choose the location of the saved document, but most of the time it saves somewhere else. I have to use the Apple search function to find the saved document. Menu screen on the printer is difficult to read-is not lighted. I find the menu choices confusing. Print quality is good. I like the paper feed mechanism.

Cheap and you get what you pay for

The LCD doesn't tilt or even light up, making it difficult to chose settings. This problem is compounded by the fact that the menus aren't very intuitive. Also, when it prints it's so loud! It's shocking how much noise this little printer can make. Finally, the ADF doesn't quite work like my old Brother did. I could use it to scan and FAX multipage documents, but this one doesn't seem to have that feature.
