This was on sale when we did the purchase. We were looking for a user friendly, cheap and a good quality printer that would last for years. We are surprised that this printer have everything we are looking for. The top tray is one of the reasons we bought it as it helps us scan/copy forms that are a lot to do using the scanner. So that just makes it more easier to use for us.

I bought this printer for home and one for work. It’s very easy to setup, to include the wireless and it prints very well.

This Canon model is slower than my prior Canon printer and I'm still getting used to its use. Since I'm no longer working and not printing volumes of material, I don't need an expensive nor fast printer so this is fine for my home use. The price on this model was quite inexpensive compared to others, but the ink cartridges are pretty costly. However, they are on the par with my prior model and perhaps just a tiny bit less. The only real problem was the lack of inventory in many of the retailers so I was without a multi-use printer for several weeks while I tried to repair my prior computer and/or shop for a new one. After assessing my needs, I finally ordered this model online and received notice that it was ready for pick up after a couple of weeks. So far so good.

This will not do for heavier or faster jobs. I purchased it upon the breakdown of a more expensive one due to immediate needs. It performed well after quick and easy setup. Only wish it were more heavy duty. Still, it was quite a bargain.

Very satisfied with this printer. It’s small enough and fits perfectly if ur space is limited. The print speed is fast and delivers good quality printed material. Most importantly, for me personally, is how straight forward and easy it was to do the initial set up and understand any instruction given when technical issues arise. I am pleased with my choice and purchase, that I have/do recommend this printer to family and friends.

Print quality is very good. Paper tray is a little flimsy and would seem prone to breakage after a lot of use. Ink is expensive and has been difficult to get due to shortages. For the money though, very pleased.

This printer replaced my wired printer as I needed wireless. liked my old one, just clicked print. this is a bit to technical have to be sure to push power then have to go through which task you want it to perform, wireless scan etc. which i discovered when it didn't work. I do not like the skimpy paper tray that has to stay out all the time, my other Cannon would close and come out automatically when you want to print. and was sturdier. this throws papers on the floor. will use it but I think its previous reviews were to generous. bought it as printer availability was scarce.

Let me just tell you this little printer has been a life saver during this pandemic. I was able to print from my phone and still am and make copies. It's easy to install the refills and I've had no problems with it working and I've had it for a year and a half now. It's worth the money and it is actually that not that expensive. It's a great addition to a home office. I highly recommend it!!!

For the price, a nice printer. Somewhat noisy when printing which may bother some people. Paper tray keeps paper in the open.

Fast and good performing printer. More of an at home printer not really an office printer. It’s a bit noisy, but performs great other wise would get 5 stars.

Set up was easy (used the cd) the copies are very clear and detailed. Used the scanner to forward documents on email attachments and it work fine. Did not use the wireless setup, I used a cable instead. So far so good..

I was looking for a good quality printer, scanner, fax and copier. I found it in this one. Printer does color photos extremely well. I have copied documents, but I have not scanned any. Also, do not have a landline telephone to connect to fax. Set-up, for both laptop and cell phone very easy. Easy to find ink cartridges, and easy to change, makes continuing to use the printer a breeze. Very happy with my purchase. Would recommend.

You need to be careful when setting this printer up, connecting the WIFI BE sure and connect the Series 4520 because if you place Series 4500 in and then come back to print your printer will block your attempts to print and you have restart the setup ALL OVER AGAIN. Shifting to capital letters on this printer for password or anything is a trip had to think of the old flip phone before I got it. When I finally got a print from this printer the quality was excellent. Haven't tried the scanning and faxing but more than sure I will have to reset the printer, because once you turn off your WIFI from your phone chaos ensues.... Tried to print from my laptop and again the Series 4500 which was an accident is blocking my progress.

We wanted a wireless printer. We have always had a Canon and they have been exceptional. Easy to set up with desktop and tablet. Works great. You have to wait a little after you hit print but it works great and the toner isn't too expensive.

I just love the wireless print capability. This printer is super easy to setup. I opened the box and was able to print a photo from my phone, wirelessly in 15 minutes. This is perfect for my home office use.
