It turns itself off and constantly has to be reset.

I tried to return the printer, but i couldn't, Best Buy only offer 15 days. The printer is terrible on ink. I mean bad! After used up the starter ink, i bought Canon ink XL which means should last much longer, but no, it didn't. I couldn't decide to return it until i realize how fast the ink goes. But by then it is too late to return. I wouldn't recommend to anybody. The printer is cheap, but you pay a lot for the ink, i think that is how they make the money.

Not loving this printer. Got it as a “free” exchange from my other 2 yr old Canon printer that suddenly stopped working. The printer doesn’t stay on, so must manually turn on when need to print. Ink cartridges not easy to load either.

Unable to set up. Perhaps the model is too old but, I wasnt able to easily trouble shoot the set up. My friend had the same issue. Returned it.

We have used it for 10 months. It worked great for 7 months. I should have purchased a better quality printer.

This item is useless after one week its start giving errors. So buy something else

Will not connect to internet no one to call for help

I returned this printer because it would not connect to my computer but it did connect to my phone. I have had Canon printers for many years but have now switched to another brand.

The “instructions” Suck. Go to youTube to find out how to work this product. You cannot go from printing photos on 4x6 to printing on letter size paper without physically going to machine and making a bunch of changes.

Used it twice and won’t work only had it a month will be returning

Horrible! The picture quality was bad. Everything was streaky!

This printer is the biggest pain in the butt. It can be cantankerous and the errors appear out of nowhere. This is the second one of this particular model I have purchased. The first lasted about 13 months. This one has lasted about 10 months. I don't have the receipt so I am kinda up the creek. Make sure to register and upload the info for the warranty! When it prints, it prints well. If you don't mind buying a printer every year, this is the product for you.

This thing prints OK...but here are the problems: 1) impossible to read the display - I have to physically move the printer to see 2) wireless won't work - I plugged it in and it works that way, but NO ONE in my house including 2 technically proficient family members could get it set up. 3) biggest problem??? INK EATER! I literally replaced my ink one week ago...I have since printed approximately 30-50 pages....it's already empty again. I am a writer, I only print out black and white text documents, nothing fancy. If I have to spend $30 a week on ink, I may just give this thing away. I would not buy this printer again knowing this. My previous Canon printer (no longer made) went a couple months without an ink change.

Works very well. Just what I wanted. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

Once I figured out the paper tray ideosyncrasies, it was a fairly simple setup. Works well. Am satisfied with this printer.
