HP used to be very good, now, not so sure

Tried all the suggestions at the HP support website, no luck. It comes with a 1 year warranty, but best buy doesn't fix printers unless out of warranty. No local in-warranty repair shop nearby. forget about speaking to a human. HP used to be very good, now, not so sure.

DIFFICULT OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

I spent 2 hours trying to figure out how to scan docs to my computer with no success. Extremely frustrating. Never had the problem with my previous HP printer.

PIXMA TR4720 not this USER's friendly

It has both the ability to send information over the internet or through a USB. The draw back is the instruction manual that is in line and I have found very confusing and unhelpful for making the connection between the Computer and the Printer. Ink supply is limited and expensive. Further if you a just copying, the paper bin is very limited and shoots out the copy past the pullout "tray".
