Most newer printers do not have these features, but Canon thank goodness does.

Printer Canon TR4700

Thoughts on Canon Pixma 4700 series printer.

The setup process can be difficult unless you have a printer cable to attach to your WiFi router. Everything in my house, from my cable, lights, door locks computers. Etc, run off of my WiFi. Without a printer cable it took 3 hrs for the printer to connect to WiFi. Canon does not include printer cables wit the printer.

Broken, dusty, setup link wrong, ink out, more ...

The bad: Covered with dust-outside and in. Ink cartridges installed and empty or dried up. Print set up link did not work. No instructions on scan setup. Paper tray is cracked in 2 places. I installed a new ink cartridge, which cost almost as much as the printer. Return of the printer, therefore, is not worth the effort.
