This printer is fairly compact so I like that it does not take up much room on my already crowed desktop. And the print quality is excellent.

I had a four year-old Canon printer and it finally gave up. It wouldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi or USB. I purchased this one as a replacement with a new computer installation and the set up was ridiculously simple. Worked perfectly within the windows 11 24 H2 environment. It prints very well I don’t do really anything with images but for general printing day-to-day email and applications it works well. The scanner on it is very good. Does exactly what I needed to do and works with no issues at all. I would highly recommend this product.

We had a printer with 6 cartridges, and one of the other was always needing replaced. I finally had enough, and realized we could replace the printer for less than the cost of the ink we needed to buy. We got this little gem. Build of the printer is subpar, but it functions well and at the end of the day that’s really what counts. It’s not huge so easily fits where you want. Super easy to set up and start using. Scans, prints from phone without an app, really does everything you need it to do. Love that it has only two print cartridges as well. If you need an affordable multifunction printer this is a fine choice.

My old printer died (black was unusable), and this made a good replacement printer. However, a feature I miss in the old HP printer is it would automatically eject the paper tray on a printout. If I forget to pull out the paper tray on this printer, the printout falls out onto the floor. All it would take is a electric latch to release a spring-loaded tray. The extended tray is quite long, so it occupies a lot of desktop space. The std quality output was better with the HP. This one can use high-quality output, but I no longer have printouts from the old HP printer at high-quality to compare with high-quality output from this printer. Old HP held 50 sheets of paper in cartridge tray. This one holds 100. Have to move up to the printer to read its LCD display. Unlike the HP, this one has straight paper feed from the backside via pull-out tray. This puts less bend in the paper. Does duplex printing, but will have to experiment with drying time which seems enough for std print quality, but will have to test with high-quality printouts. Print time (how long before re-injecting the paper to print on the other side) is adjustable. Wi-fi setup is a clumsy mess. Instructions are incomplete: at one point, the online manual refers to some installed software to take over the setup, but they don't say what software to load to be ready after doing the manual setup on the printer's screen. Only supports 2.4GHz band: the wifi scan found the 2.4GHz band of my router, but not its 5GHz band. Currently using USB to my computer, and possibly might have gotten it setup for wi-fi access, but unsure since instructions are incomplete or confusing. Print speed (black) is nowhere near the claimed spec of 13 PPM. After print job has completed, this printer keeps making noises for about a minute, like it's moving the heads around or repositioning something. It has an auto-off power mode which supposedly turns on when print traffic is sent to the printer; however, when you use its utilities to configure the printer, the software cannot connect because the printer is off, and those commands must not be considered print traffic. For now, I'll disable auto-off. Somewhere I saw the ink level reported, but I cannot find it again in any of the tools provided with the printer. All manuals are online. No offline copies, so you cannot read the manual during an Internet outage (ISP is down, their Internet service is dead, network issues), and no means of downloading copies of the manuals to your computer. In one tool (IJ Print Utility) is a button to "Manuals", but it takes you to a missing web page.

This printer has saved my behind quite a few times already and I've only just received in a couple weeks ago. I can bluetooth connect it to my computer which is hooked up to the TV for easy access. The printing is very detailed and the color ink is crazy spot on.

I picked up this printer on sale and I think I got a good deal; the printer wasn't hard to set up (I have a Mac), runs on wireless, and goes pretty quickly for a small unit. The printing quality is good. I have also used the scanner feature and it works pretty well; you can get multiple pages into one document pretty easily. It is a flatbed (no feeder) so that means you do have to babysit it for that—could get frustrating if you have a long document. I haven't printed photos but I think it could handle it well. I have printed on cardstock and it worked fine. I haven't tried odd paper sizes but I think it would handle small fine—not sure about larger. Why doesn't this get 5 stars? It seems to go through ink pretty quickly. I'm about to buy my third cartridge in 2 years (and last time I got the XL size), and that would be fine if I used it a lot more than I do. But I only occasionally print more than a few pages, and that max 1-2 a month, if that. Since I do print rarely it's not hitting me that frequently, but if you print a lot this may not be the best option for you—you should probably get a more heavy duty, ink-efficient machine.

This printer works very well with quality prints, easy setup, and plenty of features. I’ve had printers with large touch screens which I find that I don’t use and they fail. This unit has a very small screen but it tells you what you need to know and your computer handles the rest. Works well with iPhone and iPad as well. Excellent for light use.

Found the secret to clicking in the paper tray

I'm happy with this printer, but it took me a while to figure out a trick to get the paper to load. I don't use the paper feeder in the back - had trouble with that. Also had trouble with the tray, as have other people. I was about to return the printer, when I lifted up the front of it slightly to get ready to pack it up, and the tray finally clicked into the correct position! So now when I load the tray with paper, I make sure to lift the front of the printer a little, and push the tray in a bit more to click it in. This printer doesn't jibe with my router/wifi, so I bought a cable to connect it directly to my laptop.
