Great tech support makes up for poor online manual

I had a problem setting it up and found the online manual and other online information very difficult to use and understand. I don't know that the buttons on the front of the printer are explained anywhere. The tech person I talked to was very knowledgeable and helpful, giving me confidence I will be happy with the printer over time.

The buttons and paper tray feel like they can break every time you use them. The software for PC is intrusive and full of ads for the ink making it not a great experience. My unit also has an issue where it will not shut down or go to sleep correctly which seems to only be fixed by unplugging the device. Scanning seems to work OK if you use their software. Overall, not happy with this purchase.

Tried Canon over HP

Too bad I have to play with it to scan and the instructions weren't there for it. However, it's ok for printing or copying a page at a time and small jobs.
