This wireless printer is awesome! It was super simple to set-up onto my laptop and phone. As a college student, I was able to print out my schoolwork without any trouble whatsoever! I was also able to print pictures directly from my phone!

The paper feeds are tight. The controls are a little vague. The rear paper feed didn't work, but the Print is Good and the Price is Great!

I have gone through 3 printers so far before coming to this one. I got this printer home, went through my normal steps that I have been for all of my printers. (grabbing the same photo, same gloss paper) and printing. Checking for pixelated prints, blurry, missing color and so forth. This printer handles the image and gloss prints very well. Pros: Great Color, Clean prints. Cons: Slow to print. All around, if your in a fast pace environment this may not be the best, unless your customers dont mind waiting a few mins. But the printer handles its job very well.

Bought in store. I was looking for a wireless all in one to replace and older, different brand unit that failed. Since I already had a Canon wide carriage printer, I decided to try this one. Note: I confirmed with Best Buy Sales Associate that if I didn't like the printer for any reason I could return it for a refund - this Best Buy policy was why I bought in store. The only thing lacking in Canon's setup process is a walk through configuring the printer's wireless network. This is best done at the printer using its front panel. While easy enough, Canon should include a walk through in the printed literature that they ship with this unit. Surprise! Seems that Canon ships 'regular' cartridges with this printer, not minimal 'setup' or 'test' cartridges. Kudos Canon! Would I buy it again, knowing what I know now? Absolutely. Would I buy it from Best Buy? Absolutely!

Solid printer that is realitively easy to setup (for a printer). Prints very nice. Ink isn't too expensive.

Vert easy to get set up and into service except for the fax function. Called Canon customer help line to have them go through the set up with me. That saved me much frustation and had it operational in less than 5 minutes. Very happy with the machine and the way it prints.

I have had this printer just under a month and so far it works great. It was easy to install. I have used the print, copy, scan and fax features. I really like being able to scan multiple smaller documents at one time. I haven't tried the "stitch" feature yet where you scan a large document in pieces and they are stitched together. I have printed sheets of labels using the rear tray and a matte photo paper setting. The only thing I have found annoying is that you have to fold back in the exit paper support in order to pull out the paper tray. If you forget to pull it back out your copies end up on the floor. My printer sits on a cabinet at about shoulder height so it is difficult to set the paper guide tabs for a rear feed.

This seemed like the best economy quality ink jet printer for an all in one with all kinds of connectivity flexibility: Wifi, ethernet, bluetooth, etc. Printing text or photos all look decent and ink doesn't seem to run out faster (or slower) than my last HP printer. My only complaint is that scanner support/detection using non-Canon apps sucks. I end up having to use Canon's apps for the initial scans, which meets my needs, just slightly annoying.

But I was a little surprised that it became defective just days before it was one year old. I had a 2 year warranty so it was totally covered. But, again, it was not even 1 year old and I had to purchase another 2 year warranty. During this pandemic, Best Buy made it easy for me to drop the unit off from my car. I was given a store credit and ordered the exact replacement that night. After all, I had extra ink tanks and did not want the grief of purchasing different ones for a new printer. My new printer arrived 2 days later. I also have Geek Squad and they made sure everything was in working order. All is fine now.

The printer is good for the price, just 2 things I don’t like about it. The front cover has to be open in order for it to print. Also, the printer has auto shut off, and it won’t print unless it’s manually switched on. I’m used to an HP that just stays on. So if you want to remote print from a mobile device, you have to physically walk to the printer, turn the power on and open the cover before you can start. Annoying, but like I said, great printer for the money.
