I wanted a printer that would scan and print photos of high quality. My son searched reviews on multiple printers and ended up recommending this one. I couldn’t be happier with the results. I scanned an old Polaroid photo that was faded and not very sharp. Cleaned it up with the software provided and printed it and the results are amazing. Looks like a photo just taken - sharp and clear. It also does a good job printing and scanning documents. I definitely recommend this printer. If I had a complaint it would be the paper tray is kind of flimsy but I can live with it.

excellent image for printing photos, and doc. easy to learn how to use it. i has to scan a very important doc and sended by mail the quality was awesome.

I bought this printer to replace an older printer that had quit working. This printer has all the features you would ever need. So far, I am really pleased. It is quiet and prints fast!

This printer was amazing and easy to use when it was operational. I have had it for a little over two years and the printer stopped working about 6 months ago. I don't use the printer daily or even frequently. However, it would be nice to know that it is dependable when I do need it.

Colors are very different from my HP and I think the HP is more realistic to what I send to it for pictures. Part of the problem is photo papers work differently on the PIXMA. I may have to just use Canon photo paper in it. Normal printing is great especially double sided. Fax works great. Biggest disappointment is that I can not use a memory stick in it. I have to use an SD card,

I love the ease it was to set up and connect to wi-fi. The support website is awesome and easy to follow. Prints are quick and high quality. In short, I love this printer.

Prints well as did my last canon. This one has a few quirks. Although wireless, you have to manually wake it up - it goes into a sleep mode, prior to printing if it has been awhile since your last job. The paper tray is also rather different. It has a footboard so to speak you must remove and then replace when you are loading paper. For price a good quality, but not fast.

After my last Epson suddenly displayed an error which after many hours of my own troubleshooting turned out to require factory service (BS!) I decided no more Epsons. I already ruled out HP due to their required bloatware on each PC. Canon always provided excellent quality and so far this one while not as solid as previous models seems to be performing well.

I can't give this 5 stars because I can't figure out how to make the printer take the paper from the bottom cassette! It did it in the beginning when I first set it up, but then it insisted upon having me put the paper in the back holder. Read the instructions and couldn't find the "fix". Other than that it's easy to set up and does well with 2-sided copying wirelessly. That's what I wanted.

I purchased this printer for my new computer. After much deliberation and shopping around I settled on this Canon mostly because I was replacing a great old Canon printer. The printing is clear and precise whether printing in black and white, photo, or color. There is a fax function which I really do not need, but it is there should the need arise. Wireless setup is very easy and once done, the printer is ready to go. I have never been disappointed with my purchase and I highly recommend this printer!

Yes, it does everything my big MX80 did, but it doesn't have that solid feel like the MX did. It has a bit rinky, just ok feeling. But for the price and it's size it does the job and is OK so far. If it goes the distance, 10 years like the MX, than it will have been worth it. Seems cartridges for this one are a bit more expensive. Hopefully they will last longer.

The printer was easy to set up and works great. It is compact and fits nicely in the space allocated.
