Easy to set up. Print, scan and copy quality and speed are very good.

This printer takes the place of my 10 yr old Pixma that still works fine. I finally decided to get a new faster, quieter printer. Works great so far.

This is my second Canon PIXMA printer. When my previous PIXMA stopped working, it was too old to be repaired. I liked the reviews on the TR8520. Using the Canon website to connect the printer to my laptop was straightforward (my laptop doesn't have an optical drive for a CD-ROM). Setting up the various printer functions was relatively easy. I haven't tried faxing anything nor have I linked the printer to my smartphone. I connect to my laptop via cable, not WiFi. The printer touchscreen is easy to use and the print quality is excellent for documents and photos.

Great Product for the price and good quality prints, with all the new features and easy to use. Really recommend this Printer.

The printer performs well, making crisp clear photos printed from my phone. I find it less convenient to use than my previous printer. More buttons to push. I can’t print from the next room which I used to It is inconvenient to load photo paper from the rear. For someone more technically capable than myself, the results are very good

I bought this model of Canon printer because it had all of the feature of my old Canon that just was starting to act up. When I got a paper jam with several sheets in the exit tray, I decided to not bother trying to get it fixed. I had my old Canon for about 4 years without a hitch but I guess it was getting old and tired. The new Canon - PIXMA TR8520 has worked like a charm since I opened the box and set it up. It was a great buy.

This printer was easy to install and works great. You need to be sure and place the document facing the correct way on the glass or when you scan it, it is upside down....took a couple tries to figure that out. Haven't used the fax function or copied photos yet but the scan and copy functions work as indicated. It's a little hard to see where the paper goes because the front face has to be open to insert it and thus makes it dark inside where the paper tray is. But all in all, great printer.

The quality is good and the price is fair. Good printer for printing out college papers and other important documents. Easy to hook up too.

This printer was very easy to set up and operate. Faster than the 490 that I had that went south after 2 years of limited use.

I’m still getting used to it—it’s a little different from the last one we had. It prints very well. Loading the paper was a bigger thing than I thought it would be. It worked great the first time. But it took several tries the second time for it to accept that I had loaded it properly! Hopefully I’ve got it figured out.

Bought thus as a replacement for a much larger and more complicated HP printer. Everything you need to access is in front and ready to use.

I need some help figuring things out on the printer...and help is hard to come by. I'm sure I'll like it once I become more familiar with it. For example, there is a front tray for paper and a back tray. Why? And I can't tell which tray the paper will be pulled from when I print something. I did stop over at Best Buy for help but was told there weren't any "working" printers in the store so they wouldn't be able to show me anything. I'm used to better help than that.
