The printer was easy to set up and to use. The salesperson negleted to inform us that we needed to use the disc to get it going. His impression was the printer would be found on line and no start up disc was required. Even though it wasn't an issue and we like the printer.

Great printer....... easy to set up. Wireless feature was what I needed most in a new printer and it works seamlessly. One downside I've noticed so far, the paper tray holds less paper than I'm accustomed to.

I've been a long time Canon user. My last workhorse was a Pixma992 and it was amazing! Unfortunately, this model has several features that I dislike: (1) front panel has to be open to print, (2) no dual-sided scanning, (3) it's a true ink hog, (4) it loses the wireless connection from one job to the next--often in the space of 5 minutes--forcing me to re-enter the pass phrase multiple times a day. Features I do like: (1) rear feed is really nice for cardstock, or feeding envelopes, (2) print quality is good but very slow. Don't think I'd recommend.

I purchased this printer to help run my small home business and it has proven to be the best printer I've purchased thus far. Print, scan, copy and fax were all features I needed for my business. It's also been great for different projects as well. Ink levels being displayed on the lcd dscreen makes keeping track of ink levels.

My one concern was having network connectivity issues with the wireless function, but the printer quickly connected to my wifi network and worked great printing from my PC on the first try. I also downloaded the iPhone app and the print from phone works great also. The print quality in both black and color are very good, best of any inkjet printer I've owned, or used.

I haven’t used the fax, nor have I printed anything of color, so that’s why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. I’m happy with the printer. It works well. I especially like that I can print from anywhere in my home. I would recommend this printer for your average tasks.
