Quality printer and a value price. Fast and easy.

Canon Pixma TR8520 exceeded my expectations. In order to be productive from home I had to be able to print. I did some research and felt this printer would be OK. The printer arrived and I unboxed. many others with this printer suggested that I download the printer configurations instead of using the disk that came with the printer. After the download and just a few small steps on the computer I was able to print. I was amazed by that since I usually have to call in a tech person to rig it up. I just followed the instructions that came with the printer. My next concern was printer speed. I tried it out on some 10 page or more files and had no problem. The speed was enough for me. No its not has fast as the office printers but good enough for what I will be doing. Plus, we are adapting to save files as PDF and email them out. Other surprises was the quiet operation. I am also trying to save ink so I can easily lower my dpi to 150dpi and have no problem reading the printed pages. I have not tried to print photos. No time for that at the moment. Overall you cannot go wrong with this printer

This printer is easy to unpack and set up. Photo quality is great.

This printer has proven so far to be fast and reliable. I haven't used the scanning features yet so I can't comment on those yet. A couple of things I hate. First, the paper cassette has a separate plastic piece that's not integrated. The only time we've had a jam I found someone hadn't replaced that piece. Coincidence? Maybe. What really chaffes me is the fact that you have to open the front panel to print. I have this printer on a shelf at eye level so I can't use the panel when printing. Not a big deal in most cases, but why have a panel that opens and closes if you have to open it to print?

A little difficult to get started with. It should come with better more detailed instruction book. Trays sould have a better way to grasp onto to facilitate pull out. Print quality is very good.

Fairly easy to set up both hard wired and with wireless devices.

I needed a wi-fi printer that was inexpensive and kind of compact. Decent quality and multi-functional. This printer covers all the bases and so far is "ink efficient as well! Thanks Canon and Best Buy!

My Wife and I have used this printer for about 6 weeks now and find it a great improvement over my 7120 which finally gave up the ghost. We particularly like the three paper feed options including the automatic multipage feeder. The wireless connection can print from any mode including directly from a cell phone. Very versatile printer.

5 stars so far. We haven't had to refill any of the ink tanks yet. Would have gone thru a few ink cartridges by now with our old EPSON printer. Price of the printer is 2 to 3 times of standard printers but the savings is with the ink. Refills are very reasonable. Print quality is outstanding.

Easy to install. Easy to hook up to the wireless network

This is an excellent small color printer for small print needs. My only complaint is Canon's less than efficient way to print something other than 8x11 paper. If you're printing an envelope, photo, or small paper, you have to go to the printer and click on the pop ups for your print needs. This is quite a hassle as the printer does not remember and the need is created to do for each print need. Now that I've written this, I'm going to change the rating from 5 to 3 stars.

Would give 5 stars but the instructions do not say how to scan with all my other printers the process was easy Great price came highly recommended by a competitor of Who sales printers

As much as I enjoy using technology, I am NOT a techie. This printer was easy to hook up and start using; I didn’t even feel the desire to punch it- not even once.
