I've gone Canon for some time, given their quality and feature sets. This latest is no exception to the general Canon rule, but I find the build quality to be just a little lower than previous models. Thus four stars instead of five, but no reason not to buy it.

My Epson died an error code fatal disease and I was tired of paying a fortune for ink, I did a lot of research and read many reviews and picked the Canon printer and decided to make my purchase at Best Buy so I could touch it and ask a human a question. The salesperson was great and after answering many questions he introduced me to the Canon sales rep who happened to be visiting that day. Slam dunk and I love my new printer.

I purchased this printer after my old Canon printer gave out on me. I like the canon because it has dedicated and separate color cartridges. I really liked my old Canon. It was sturdy and reliable. I hate to say this but this model feels cheap. I have gone through color ink cartridges VERY QUICKLY without little printing. In order to print the flap needs to be open. You can't just print. Its a process. There are just way too many more physical steps to print something. Turn it on, open the display flap, pull out the paper holder. To load more paper you have to put in the output paper flap. Not my favorite but it's okay.

This printer gets the job done, however, it's not very intuitive out of the box. I'm someone who can generally pick up anything without reading directions and figure mostly everything out. This was something I needed to open up the instruction manual for.

We needed a copy/printer and this was the best one for a very low price.

Don’t use it often but haven’t had any issues with the printer. Quality copies and quick printing.

The tray with the foldout paper extension is annoying. It gets stuck and doesn't fold back up right. I'm always bumping into it also. Other functionality is good. Another annoyance is the frequent maintenance on the toner cartridges when you need to print...

I love that it does duplex, has great color quality and will print great Photos. It is supposed to wake up automatically when you go to print or scan from your Computer. But mine always says its offline and I have to go manually hit the "on" button.

This printer is a bit clumsy, but affordable and doesn't go through the expensive ink as fast as my previous one. It's a nuisance to have to purchase an entire pack with color inks each time when I only use b&w

Looking for a decent printer for mobile office. Seems to be worth the price so far.
