This printer appears to be cheaply made (the components feel rickety and as though they will break off for example, if the panel is opened too quickly). It does not feel structurally solid, but appears to be working sufficiently for our needs. Also, the online download instructions did not work for us (we are not able to use this printer wirelessly for our Mac) and were cumbersome. All in all, it is a "get what you pay for" kind of product. If it lasts us a year I would be happy (surprised, but happy).

This is my 4th Canon printer and I have usually gotten good results from the previous models for small printing jobs. I'm disappointed with the size of the paper tray (to small).

THis is probably a good photo printer but does not do well with lots of pages to print. I probably should have gotten a more heavy duty machine.

I hooked everything up after purchase and couldn't get it to work consistently wirelessly. A wired cord was not included in the box (!) so after contacting Geek Squad they suggested I use it wired (only) instead. After buying the cord and hooking it up, I still cannot get my new printer to print consistently. Looks like I will have to upgrade my computer as well....even though it is supposed to be compatible.

The printer works fine. The installation direction's could be better. Some controls are in the software on the computer and some are only on the printer itself.

Bought this last year in may and just replaced my ink cartridges. I have to say I am very impressed with this printer, especially because I got it at sale for a steal at $100. If the paper jams, it tells you where and how to take it out. Definitely worth the buy

An ok printer. Instructions were a bit hard to follow for set up. Haven't printed photos yet. Does not seem to print from smartphone, so I'll have to try that set up again.

Prints, Prints wifi. But the prints aren't as clear and as large as the HP I had to replace. But was $40 bucks cheaper than new HP.

My only problem is I can't get the settings right to have it automatically turn on when I send it a job. It is annoying to have to go to the other room and push the button each time I try to print.
