Love this printer. It was a bit tricky to install and get it to work, since I am connected to two separate networks. I had to disconnect from my work network in order to print at home. Once I figured this out, it works like a charm. Highly recommend this product.

I have only used it for a few weeks, but seems to work reasonably well for the price. I'm disappointed that it doesn't autoscan with double sides.

This is a great printer. Although there are two of us working from home and doing a lot of printing, we have had to change 4 XL black and 1 color combo cartridge. Seems like a lot to me. We are really giving it a workout and it is up to the challenge!

    Not bad, but some quirks

Set up was fairly easy, and unlike my old MG5220 that this replaced, getting a wifi printer connection has been very reliable. Have really only used this for basic documents so far, although I wasn't terribly impressed with the images in those documents. Also, the front door is a little weird. On the 5220, the door would open automatically when you hit print. Now, you have to manually open the door before printing or you get an error message. Seems like a step backward.

Love the printer, and it's capabilities. But there are a few times the software didn't automatically set up. You have to find the settings, not always easy.

Had a HP that would constantly drop the wireless signal and would have trouble printing from phone & iPad. This unit has been great with that just a bit slower print speed

I like many parts of the printer. Ink usage is good. You have to turn it off and on by pulling up the panel and sometimes a jam takes a bit to olcate and remove.

I replace my older Epson with this printer and I am very happy with it. It does everything I need it to do. I was surprised how much I have used the FAX feature as some outfits require you to use the FAX mode to send them documents.

I brought this printer because it is one of the few that still take a sims card. Works great for what I want to use it for.

I like this printer after it took a bit to set up. The dislike is the control board that needs to be up for the printer to print.

Best inkjet printer I've ever owned, and I've owned a number. Does a great job with paper handling, even double sided printing. Ink cartridges' last much longer than my Brand E printer. Great value. Photo printing looks great too.

This is a great device considering the price and how it performs. The only disappointing part was that it does not scan 2 sided papers.

This is our second Canon printer. We purchased a Canon printer again because the first one lasted and worked so well - not disappointed - this one works well also.

I should have looked but there is no place for a usb drive for scanning. If I had known this I would not have bought it. Also, the screen seems easy enough to use but it actually is somewhat confusing. I consider myself tech savvy and I have trouble each time. It is economical but I should have gone with my first thought and bought the laser printer that cost more.

Not as good as the older model mx420. The scanner is on the slow side and frequently sucks in more than 1 page at a time so you can't just drop in a stack of papers and walk away. It needs babysitting. It seems to need a lot of time to think about what your asking it to do before it starts doing it. It also goes through ink fast which is expensive. There are also extra steps involved in using the scan to pdf option. The mx420 software was more efficient.

The printer itself is great and the features offered is why I chose this one. The fax set up, however, is a pain and I have yet to complete that. Otherwise great.
