I'm very happy with this printer. I had the 8520 model; now upgraded to this 8620 model. It's easy to use, has quality printing for home office usage, and it's fairly small size is convenient.

Pros: * Great size and lighter weight than many * Love that the digital display also folds upwards so you can use while standing over it! * Ink cartridges included and easy to set-up Cons: * No test paper included * I had a few issues and had to troubleshoot the wifi connectivity....and did get it to work * Wish it had a longer plug-in cord (I'm usually disappointed by most tech products on length of cords) Bottomline: I do recommend this printer

This replaces a similar canon pixma that lasted less than 2 years. So far I am pleased with the Photo quality 4x6, 5x7 mostly. The Wireless connection between the desktop computer and samsung s21 phone works very well. I am still underwhelmed by the build quality being all plastic. Feels like and type of stress pressure, parts would snap off. Like all inkjet printers, Ink buying is a pure ripoff.

Overall I am very pleased with this Canon PIXMA TR8620.it took some time to get it all set up and working properly. Which required the help from a tech at Canon and also computer tech. I'm very pleased with how it prints and very clean printing. Only area that I'm not satisfied with. That you didn't provide an extended tray to gets the paper as it comes out of the machine. otherwise am very pleased and satisfied.

This printer was purchased as a replacement for an older Canon Pixma series printer, that after several years, finally gave-up on delivering acceptable prints. Setup/configuration with printing over my Wi-Fi network was easy. All Scanning, copying & printing functions are working without any problems, over several different PCs & Laptops. Do note, that I have not utilized this MFP's Fax function. This new printer seems to work equally well as the previous model, with one noticeable improvement: The noise level has been reduced. As in the past, some movable plastic parts, are subject to easy breakage, make me question the product QUALITY.

WE have used this for a little over a year now, and are very pleased. The quality is excellent. the only issue has been for connecting to the printer if we talking about an older computer or a computer that maybe built as powerfully (like with windows-s mode). These computers are consistently difficult to connect with the printer and we usually end up having to connect with an USB cable, which btw requires a specific usb/rpinter cable. so once you buy that USB printer cable be sure you know where you put it, cuz common USB cables won't work. That Is the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star. would have give a 4.5 if allowed to. Also we've noticed that printer inks seems to go along ways. having many different ink cartridges is great and means yo only replace the one that is running low.

Great printer for home office use! I love that the ink cartridges are all separate so you can just replace the colors as you need. It was incredibly easy to get set up and connected to my iMac. My favorite feature is how quiet the printer runs, my last HP printer would shake the whole table and print obnoxiously loud. This one is smooth and silent.

I never write reviews before using a product for a month, but I'm making an exception here. right away, I must say that I'm gravely disappointed that while Canon raises prices of both hardware and ink, their quality of both hardware and software support is on a nosedive. Here's why I say this: It was not hard to set up, though it was terribly messy. Of the hundred or more inkjet cartridges I've replaced, I've never had one leak in the process. These didn't just leak, they gushed. I have yellow ink spots on my carpet and the protective sheet I used after that looks like a tie-dye project. I think 10% of the meager supply of starter ink is there. That was not an auspicious start. I next discovered that the touch screen is not a touch screen, at least not in the sense of a phone or most touch screens. First, I had to lift the flimsy panel its mounted on and hold it with my other hand while I pounded on it up to six times to get my "touch" to register. I WANT MY BUTTONS BACK! Then I realized that it has only one paper tray, not the additional one for photo paper my previous one did. I switch between photo paper and standard on a regular basis and this involves resetting guides and well and physically swapping paper. Uh oh. I do like that it has a rear paper feed, but when I tried it, although I'd selected it on the pound screen, the "auto-select" feature on the printer properties did not select it. One more item to be alert to when printing. :-( It did do well at aligning the print heads using the scanner to read a printout. I knew from calling Canon before selecting this printer that it no longer supports duplex scanning -- I'd have to go up a few hundred dollars to get that. But dang! That feature saved me a lot of hassle and time. Not only that, but the previous printer fed document scans into an app, I think it was My Image Garden, that held them in a folder for the project and let me check that they were straight, then rearrange, add or delete before assembling the collection into a single PDF document. Now, not only must I reverse the pages, I have to open a separate PDF merge utility, hope they are in the right order, and merge them myself, requiring a substantial amount of extra time. Boo hiss! The printer does print well, but I'll go back to using my 20-year-old Epson flatbed scanner that still has a higher quality scan. So, again, bottom line, I'm sad to say that besides this current printer, I no longer recommend any Canon product, and I used to be a fan.

After one month of use, I'm very pleased with the operation and quality of the multi-function printer. I benefited from my organization's IT department in installing the drivers, which were easy to find on the Canon website. Initial set-up of the printing and fax functions was easy and intuitive. One note to buyers of the machine: the control screen panel on the front needs to be in the horizontal position to print. Not something I saw instruction about. I'd purchase the item again, which arrived within the time promised.

Good points: easy setup, small size, works fine. Negatives: small copy output tray, have to turn on each day but that is energy saving too. Punches online so could have checked the output issue. Serves my home need just fine, so satisfied.

Great all around printer. Easy to setup and use. Really good all around printing with very good photo and greeting card printing with heavy card stock paper. Nice large control panel but would prefer that it be fixed rather than lift up. It goes through ink fairly quickly.
