    The printer functions as expected. However, Canon has disappointed me on certain operations. Why they require me to flip up the control panel before printing and only provided a manual flip out lever for catching the paper doesn't make any sense. Also the ink cartridges are more open allowing for messy handling. My previous Canon was many times user friendly. Too bad Canon didn't provide drivers for Win 11 or I wouldn't have had to replace it.

    Works ok until you try to AirPrint from your iPad. It’s a hit or miss if it will print. Very frustrating. Called canon and they just said for me to call Apple. Humm it worked fine with my previous HP printer. Should have stayed with HP.

    I replaced an Epson ink well printer with this Cannon. Much easier setup and the color copies are a whole bunch better. Color reproduction is very good. Downsides are that it's slooow when printing double sided copies. It's not a heavy duty printer but for light personal office work, it does the job very well.

    Good quality all-in-one printer but still very new with a few teething problems. Much to my surprise I needed to load a proprietary printer driver from Canon. Why don't the companies coordinate with the Linux printer community more closely? Don't they know what most of the servers run these days? As to quality, upon testing all operating modes I found that Network and USB connected scanning protocols are different. Network connected scanning works in all modes. Connected to the USB and only when trying to use the automatic document feeder, the scanner hangs will not scan. It does scan connected to USB and doing single sheets on the glass. Not a problem for me as it is network connected, but those wanting to connect to a single desktop via USB may need to be warned. This seems to be a symptom of poor driver design and lack of communication with the OS developers.

    Quality of printer is 5-Star, Windows 11 compatibility with a USB cable is poor. Several posts online fail to address the issue with the printer not responding or being found. I had to install the printer on a network via Wi-Fi which now offers the printer to every agent in the building to print to. Assuming a future firmware update will address this issue.

    i had trouble with the exact same printer and asked if the Geek Squad could fix it. I was told it was still under warranty and that I could pick/take another printer. I chose to take the same one and am very happy with it.
