Every time the printer is used it has to be manually turned on. I even had in home Geek Squad service, which is not cheap and he cannot resolve the problem. I have replaced the printer and the battery back up. Apparently many people are having the same issue according to the internet. Geek Squad needs to be informed of this and not dispatch a person if the problem cannot be resolved.

had to call canon service to set up.spent 45 minutes to an hour to complete......too tough.....prints too slow.

I really want to return it! EVERY TIME I print it gets a papaer jam!!!!!!!

Not very heavy duty had difficult setting up. I would not recommend.

Print quality was very poor and pixelated. Had to wait forever after clicking the print button for the printer to finally respond. Packed this thing right back up and returned it the very same day. Will not recommend it to anyone.

This printer was $99.99 and I think I know why. It is not very user friendly. You have to have the cover with the buttons open and flapped out in order to print and then it has to be flipped out which is odd because it is the monitor.

Even though it was wireless I had to go to the printer and turn it on. It just wasn't worth it. The only reason I even looked at it was because the price of ink for any of these printers. I like my old printer better.

This is the worst printer ever! If you’re looking for problems here’s a printer for you! This printer has one job and it’s to print picture and documents, that’s it! And it can’t even do that!

The printer is small and easy to use compared to my previous printer. It works great with my Android phone and my iPhone with the Canon connect app. The ink is easy to change and so far the quality of the picture is so amazing. The paper feeder is easy to use. The touch screen is so easy to use and the ink so far has went beyond my expectation.

This took way too long to configure. I really don't need all the fancy stuff. And, as it turned out, this printer couldn't perform the fancy stuff. Returned it.

It might print something in 20 minutes or it might take over night. The Geek Squad will be working on it!

I had higher hopes for this printer. The color and quality for photo prints was awful.

It is real poor quality. I could not believe it is Canon.

Returned to store after inability to correct error code

I needed a printer for infrequent use (once every couple weeks) but did not want to spend loads of money on ink cartridges that dry out quickly. The Cannon T6000 series ink cartridges will not dry out because of the dispenser design. It even prints fairly quickly for a low capacity device, has a nice scanner and the software for networking works well with Windows and Android systems.

Installation was painful. The easy install failed. The manual install also failed, however the printer was able to connect to the router. My guess is that Windows 10 is more to fault than the printer, because it took a long time to see the printer on the network. So be patient. Once it found the printer then I could see the IP address (a set of 4 numbers) The third and last option in the setup software was to actually enter the printer IP address and then the printer installation got going and eventually was successful. The only other thing I would say is that the paper cartridge is supposed to stick out in front of the printer which seems weird to me and it unusual that the printer control panel is a big flap that opens up in front which also seems odd. The photo paper allows for an incredible photo print. Also I got an Apple ipad to print sometimes which may be an issue with the website sources not the Canon app.

I worked really good, I also like the shape of the printer, it's so elegant. Good thing is that I can have multiple options for its compatible inks.

This was the smoothest online purchase and store pickup I have ever made. The printer has an on screen setup that performed without a hitch. Essentially this printer set itself up and connected to my WIFI. I was only prompted to hit [NEXT] or [continue]. I was impressed with the software and also the overall performance of the printer. Highly recommended by this happy customer.
