Not great for the less than tech savvy

I miss the days when you could connect a usb cable between the printer and computer and start printing. This printer requires you to get it to see your router and even with the router passwords and a person pressing the button on the router it didn't go smoothly. You have to get the computer to recognize the printer for each user and device. Separately. Also, for my profile the printer is certain it is out of paper despite the bottom tray being full. It will only print if there is paper in the back of the printer. The menu doesn't give any obvious options to switch trays to the full bottom tray. My boyfriend has had it print half the page on multiple print jobs. I'm not in the "love this printer" club.

Printer Not Responding

Virtually every time I try to print I receive a message telling me that my printer is not responding. Despite troubleshooting, I still receive the same message. It is not a problem with my computer or internet, it is a problem with the printer. At times it works sporadically. As a student I have limited printing at my school, and rely heavily on having a working printer at home. This is the first canon printer I've owned, and it will be the last.
