Price usually drives my purchases, but I did some research with regard to this printer and reviews were good, so purchased it. Yeah, I have had better printers but I needed something for my craft room - not top of the line but adequate for my needs. Wireless is, imo, always a good thing and it is not humungous so where space is limited, it is a nice size. Haven't used it extensively so it'll be interesting to see where it falls on the side of ink usage.

everything about this printer has come up roses! Easy wireless setup and excellent print quality. The scanner works good too, but that is just a bonus for quicky scans as I have a standalone scanner for special jobs.

My old printer died and I needed something in a hurry to replace it without spending a ton of money. This printer is not fancy but did a nice job with my documents. I don't really intend on using it to print photos but did a couple test prints and the quality was much better than expected. Quick and easy set up. I bought a white one because it was quite a bit less expensive than the black one was. Not sure why that would be? Reccomend.

The printer has a small footprint, which is appreciated, and prints at a good pace and on both sides of the paper. My only issue thus far has been maintaining the ability to do wireless printing.

I really like this printer. Set-up was very easy. Print quality is excellent. The scanner works well. All-in-all, I am pleased with the overall quality and price of this printer.

A really good printer, exceptional print quality and functionality, and doesn’t use ink like some other printers. And white is some good-looking hardware.

I’m pleased with the printer it works great. I was not offered the instant ink plan at time of purchase so now I am not able to have that service. That was disappointing when I called Canon about this plan. They said you have to buy it at time of purchase. It is thru Best Buy! The man that helped me never offered the plan.

It gave me an error out the box. It gave me two suggestions and said if they don't work call customer support. They didn't work and I only had it a few minutes so I took it back.

I purchased this printer brand new. You can't use the touch screen to print or scan. You are forced to download an app that is a super huge file that takes forever to download, even with the fastest download speeds. The USB to connect directly to your computer is hidden so far inside the back you have to be a detective to find it. There is no USB port for your thumb drive and downloading the manual was another hunting project along with having find YouTube videos! Really??? They are to cheap to give you simple instructions? It was such a waste of time I had to return it. I'll never buy a canon printer again... This was so frustrating i had to leave a comment so none else has to deal with this. This was a terrible piece of equipment.

I bought this printer, and the first time I turned it on out of the box I got a vague error message and it wouldn't let me do anything. I called Canon and they were unable to troubleshoot the issue so told me they would send a replacement (great customer service from them by the way). I thought maybe it was just one defective machine so I exchanged for another one. With the new one I got a bit further in the set-up but then got an error message that I hadn't loaded paper even though I had, and again unable to do anything. Canon again was unable to help me troubleshoot the issue over the phone. Maybe I had bad luck with 2 defective products, but I would not recommend this printer!
