I almost didn’t purchase this item based upon all the negative reviews. I’m glad I bought it. Easy set up. Found my wifi connection right away. All devices located the printer and printed. Clear prints and copies. Works with Alexa. A great upgrade that allows me to print wirelessly and with AirPrint. Printer does not come with a printer cable but I was able to use my old canons cord to connect to the computer via usb. I got it on sale. If it’s on sale it’s worth the price!

I’m a professional digital media creator (photography, video, graphic design, etc.) and run my own business out of my home. I have to print and scan a lot… contracts, invoices and whatnot. I also enjoy having a printer that I can make decent home prints with for around the house. My wife also uses my home office and needs a reliable printer. I had a Canon MG5420 and it worked wonderfully through8 long years of very usage. While I was sad to see old faithful finally kicking the bucket I am very happy to have moved onto the TS6420. I have a late 2014 Mac Mini with a 1tb Samsung Evo SSD desktop and a Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 router… the Canon fits right into the network with the blink cameras, the PS4 and our wireless devices. I love the size of TS6 vs. MG5 as well as the huge increase is printing speed. Wireless and physical set up were very easy and quick. Even if you’re not a Canon printer owner now I would suggest you try one! They seem to hold well to abuse, are very low maintenance and make beautiful prints.

Sent me an open box item

I think it was an “open box” because the cord was unwound, some styrofoam missing, re-taped, and box was opened and re-taped. Also box with cord and ink was opened, not closed.

Not user friendly. Most of the time the printer cannot be seen by the computer or iPhone. So I have to do mostly manual. I guess you can’t expect too much on this printer as it’s mostly basic printing only. You get what you pay for.

Uses an unbelievable amount of ink. BUYER BEWARE

Cant believe how much ink this printer uses. And the cartridges are very expensive. I will use up my existing supply of cartridges and find a different printer. Even with a modest amount of printing, I figure I will have to spend well over $100 per month on ink with this printer. Wish I had done more homework. Attached picture shows supply levels after maybe 25 black and white pages printed.

I love this printer! It’s so easy to use for air printing from iPhones, iPads ect. It prints very fast and the quality is excellent. Scanning is excellent quality as well. Easy to make copies. One of the best quality for the price out there and I used to have an HP that recently stopped working and purchased this. I’m completely happy and would say this works just as well as the HP I used to have.

Simple printer, it was hard to connect to my wifi since it couldn't locate it. Opted to just connect it directly to my PC, prints and scans well.

I gave it a four. I wish there was a 4.5 option. The printer is great. It's sleek and the size is compact and convenient. I ran into some difficulty setting up the wireless component and I'm still figuring it out. However, on the bright side I can attach the USB cable and use that option. The price is incredible. It was out of stock and I was notified when available. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend it.

I did a little research and purchased the Canon Pixma TS6420 to replace my failing HP. It's size worked great in not taking away any work space. It was easy to setup and the instructions were very clear. I am extremely happy with the performance and the price was great. It was a very good choice compared to other printers in this price range or even more. Quality and speed are great. Had it shipped to my doorstep and it arrived on time and undamaged.

This replaces an earlier Canon printer model that was used constantly in a home office. The ink is not easy to find yet, but should be readily available as more of this printer model is sold. It was easy to set up, works well on the wireless network, and produces quick and crisp prints

The Canon is a good printer, just wish it would print 3 x 5 cardstock. Only 4 x 6 and larger. I'll make it work. It seems like a well made printer. Easy to instal paper and ink. It was not easy to instal and had to contact Geek Squad to assist. Then it would not connect to my Chromebook and had to contact Canon. Now both are connected and working well.

Nice printer, but the paper try seems flimsy. One has to be very careful and delicate not to jam it. The printer also is very slow....
This is not for someone in a hurry. I do like the size.
