Canon Letdown: Dead on Arrival

Right out of the box, the power supply was burnt and the machine wouldn’t even turn on. To make matters worse, the paper tray that’s supposed to catch prints wouldn’t slide back into place. For the price, I expected at least basic functionality, but instead I got frustration. Very poor quality control.

Good little item?

I purchased it because it had 2-sided printing, could copy from a book, and was lightweight, I travel and want to carry it because past experience revealed problems with ink drying from non-use for periods of time. I hope this will work out.

Great printer

It takes up a little more space than my old printer, because of the rear paper feed capabilities, but I was able to rearrange my desk and it all fits well now. Very pleased.

The setup was quick and easy and the printer functions just as expected. Also, it’s not as bulky as my previous Canon and was available in white, very happy.

EASY TO USE

I had a little problem trying to scan a picture, and as soon as I learned, was so easy.

Jams too much

I had a Canon printer before that wasn't wireless that worked perfectly but I wanted to upgrade to a wireless. That part works fine but overall it's a shoddy cheap printer that doesn't work the best.

Efficient printer at a reasonable price

Response time is just a bit slow but the print quality is nice. I haven't printed photos yet so I don't know how the quality is for that. The controls are easy to learn and the paper tray is easy to use.

Not sure how well photos are printed with this printer but for black and white documents its great.
