This is a wireless 3-in-1 (Print | Copy | Scan) machine.
Support dual band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz or 5GHz)
Can do 2-sided printing.
Has a 2.7" LCD touchscreen on the control panel for easy navigation.
Under the control panel there is a LED light to shine on the output paper tray. Very nice.
Can power On/Off automatically.
Has two paper sources, cassette and rear tray each has 100-Sheet capacity.
Installation of the printer is very easy, just plug in power, the color display on the printer will guide you to install the black ink cartridge and color ink cartridge.
This printer only needs 2 ink cartridges but it has a Maintenance Cartridge. Maintenance Cartridge supposed to last very long and not expensive.
However, page yield is very low at 180 (Black) and 180 (Color) pages for the ink. Minus 1 star.
After installing the ink, it wants you to go to Canon website to install app for your computer.
The installer app will install the printer driver, scanner driver, the scan utility so you can scan document and photo and the Canon IJ Printer Assistant Tool where you can check printer status, ink level, perform cleaning and some other tasks.
At the end, it will prompt you to print a test page, the print out of the Windows test page is very sharp.
After finished installing the app, the installer open Canon website and lists all the functions the printer can do.
The installer will also add 2 web links into your Windows start menu, one to the online manual and one to the Getting the Most Out of Your Printer web site.
Tested copying a color page of a book and the result came out excellent.
Printing text is sharp, photo print is also sharp and clear with good color accuracy.
Just need to remember to set the print quality to high instead of auto for photo printing, otherwise you will see horizontal line across the width of the page every 15mm.
Printing speed is pretty speedy, can do 15 (BW) / 10 (COLOR) Images Per Minute (ipm) but printing is a bit loud.
Scanning is not very fast though but the scan comes out very good.
Scanning in magazine mode is the slowest.
When scanning in photo mode it does a preview to determine the size before doing the actual scan because by default auto scan size is enabled in the setting.
This machine is easy to use out of the box but also comes with many advance settings and features for advance user. I have not gone through all the settings and has not figured out how to setup its integration with web services yet.
Two things I don't like are one, it needs you to register an account with Canon and register the printer to use the web service features. When registering the printer, you need to provide info such as your address. If you don't care about web services, you can skip this.
Two, the button press response is immediate, you won't get prompt for confirmation. Example, pressing the power button immediately shutdown the printer.

It is quiet. It is an ample size.and print and copy results are clear. It a simple to use printer. expensive doesn't equate to a better machine. I also like that the top of the printer is clean; no extra cumbersome plastic tray for printing.
flat and deep, and a square shaped design. I've had expensive, I bought this one on store advice. It is my "Best Buy."

The Canon - PIXMA TS7720 Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Printer - White is excellent; it has a pretty easy setup and is very user-friendly. It comes with INK (a small amount, but some nonetheless). Fairly compact, only taking up very little space for an inkjet printer, and at a very good price. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for an inkjet printer.

This is a very good, light use, all-in-one printer/scanner. It’s fairly simple to set up and works as expected. I’ve only had a few minor issues that for the most part, I was able to figure out.
There is no user guide included. There is only a 3-step startup guide. Much of the setup is done on the printer’s small screen. The quick start guide tells you to go to a website to get the software. Then the website opens the MS Store to download the software. The software setup guides the installation as it should. It finds the printer and network automatically. Initial communication is through Bluetooth and it temporarily disables your network. There is no USB printer cable included in the box but there is a port on the printer for a direct connection if you have a cable.
Once set up, it allows you to print a test sheet then directs you to the Canon Americas website to create an account. Once you create an account, the website brings you to the ink subscription page where you have a choice of an Auto Replenishment plan or the “Pixma” plan. In the replenishment plan, it looks like it sends you cartridges automatically when the printer senses you are low. With the Pixma plan, you pay a monthly fee. Either 20 cents per print or a set fee for a certain number of prints ($4/30 pages - $6/100 pages or $10/200 pages). You can roll-over unused prints to the next month. This won’t work for me because in some months I’ll do 2 prints and others I’ll do 50+. Not sure how this is better than just getting your cartridges when you need them but I guess it’s an option for people that don’t want to think about getting ink. I’m personally not a fan of subscription services.
As for the printer itself, it’s compact & light weight. The paper tray is quite shallow. It looks like it holds 50 sheets or so but the box says 100. The 2.7” touch LCD screen is bright and easy to read. You can keep it flush with the front face of the printer or pull it out so it’s angled up. This printer has duplex printing built in and it worked well when I tried it. This is a very nice feature in a small, home printer like this one.
There are only 2 ink cartridges (1 black and one 3-color). They are easy enough to install/replace. One thing I really like about them is they have the printhead integrated into the cartridge. The benefit to this is every time you change the cartridge, you get a new print head. The downside is that these types of cartridges typically cost more to replace than ink only cartridges. I currently have another, larger format printer that has separate print heads. I am constantly having to clean the print heads. At the moment, they are so clogged I cannot get it to print properly. The print head is not replaceable. I used a good $100 worth of ink just trying to get it clean. I recently purchased a kit to clean the head but it’s a really messy process that I don’t look forward to. I wish the print head was replaceable. For now, this Canon is my primary printer.
Printing is straight forward for the most part. It took me a few tries to get the printers straight path, manual feed to work. Even though I changed the path in the driver it didn’t work. I had to make sure I changed the setting in the software I was using (MS Word). Once I figured it out, it worked great. I printed some documents, both black and white and color. I also printed some 4x6 photos. Both printed great and looked great. The photos especially ‘popped’ when I used and selected Glossy Photo Paper and highest quality in the print driver.
Ink levels dropped very quickly after the initial setup. The Black cartridge was down to about 80% after just 3 prints but seems to have settled in. Hopefully, these are starter cartridges with less ink and additional cartridges will last longer.
The scan bed is letter sized. There is no automatic feeder. You need to scan each sheet separately. When scanning to a computer, the driver gives you a choice of Auto-Detect, Image or Document. Image will create a .jpg graphics file to your Documents folder (in Windows). Document will create a .PDF file. I didn’t see a way on the printer screen to select a file type other than these options and I didn’t see a way to adjust the settings other than DPI. The scan quality was good but some photos were a little over exposed. Documents scanned just fine.
The Canon PRINT app adds additional functions to your cell phone like checking ink levels, performing maintenance, ordering ink, printing from the phone, etc. You can print photos or documents on your phone with just a few taps. You can also scan to your phone. Initial setup is a little annoying. It directs you immediately to the website for the ink subscriptions and then, while exploring the app, a survey pops up. Canon, please just let us use the app. I hate in-app popups. I’m also concerned about some privacy disclosures on the app store description page that say “Data Used to Track You” and “Data Linked to You”. Both say they include Identifiers and Usage Data. These need to be Opt-In and not turned-on during installation. The app also asks to track your location stating this can help detect network issues. This shouldn’t need to be on all the time. Maybe when you are having issues but it should ask you to turn this feature on if you are having issues.
As mentioned earlier, I do think this is a good printer/scanner. It’s got some really nice features and works well. I don’t have any issues recommending this to others if it meets their needs.

This Canon Pixma TS7720 All-in-one printer, scanner and copier, has a lot of great features. First of all, it was the easiest printer I have ever set up before. It took no more than 10 minutes, and that includes the time to print an alignment page, connect to my smartphone, add paper, install the ink cartridges, and print a test page. Very fast and easy setup. The second thing I like best about this printer is that the color LCD display panel is clear as day, touchscreen, and big enough to read everything on it. It offers several options and modes for the printer. The modes are called Scenes. There are Standard, Work, Study, and Lifestyle. Each scene offers different options. The Standard scene offers your Copy, Scan, and Print, along with WiFi icon, connected icon, settings, and information.
The print quality is pretty good. I printed several things using different types of paper, including photo glossy, photo matte, greeting card paper, and brochure paper, in addition to plain paper. The paper tray is on the bottom front, but to use speciality paper, I used the paper feeder on top. You can print as small as a business card or as large as A4 paper. The control panel on either side of the LCD touchscreen panel, has the power, home, and undo options on the left, and on the right are the black, color, and stop selections. They are not raised buttons, but a touch panel with a symbol to represent each option. The scanner is a flatbed scanner, and scans very well. It was clear one able to pick up text to edit very nicely. The color correction is good too. The printer comes with one starter black ink cartridge, one starter color ink cartridge, a power cable, and the printer. There are two pieces of tape holding things in place, that have to be removed before use. The instructions are great and easy to understand. The only issue I had with that printer is that it is not too quiet. It’s rather noisy. Part of it sounds like something is breaking, but it was not. It still printed great. I’d recommend this printer for home or school use the most, followed by a home office with very little printing.

Faster and quieter than our older Canon printer

We also own a Canon MG7520.
What’s good?
Setup was relatively easy. I install or replace between 5-25 printers or multi function devices each year at work and this was a lot easier to get going compared to the other printers that I typically set up. My wife used the Canon app on her phone and she did have a hiccup on one of the connection steps, but once she turned her VPN off, the setup process was able to finish successfully.
Photo quality: we printed a mix of 4x6 and 5x7 photos and the quality was comparable to our MG7520.
Printing speed and overall noise: was faster & quieter than our MG7520.
The touch screen. My wife likes touchscreens. And the light at the bottom of the touch screen illuminates the spot that all of the print outs come through, making them easily findable in a dark room.
What’s so-so?
While the printer was shipped with starter ink, after printing 10 photos, the color cartridge was over 50% empty after those small number of print jobs. The black cartridge is only down about 25% though.
Compared to our MG7520, I was purchasing all 6 ink cartridges in the high yield versions to the tune of about a Benjamin Franklin and an Andrew Jackson yearly, so as long as these 2 cartridges cost less than that, I would consider it a win in the total cost of ownership category.
What could be improved?
Printing from the Canon app, only showed images that are stored in a cloud account (and not locally on the device), for printing images on the device, my wife had to go to each photo and “share” it with the Canon app in order to print it. Printing it this way seemed to leave white bars on the top and bottom of every photo. This issue was remedied by abandoning the Canon app, and pulling up each photo individually and then doing a File – Print command, which eliminated the white bars on the top and bottom of every photo. There might be some settings in the app that we could play around with, but we would likely run out of ink before finding the magic combination to eliminate the wasted space on the photo paper.

I purchased the Canon PIXMA series printer, and so far, it has exceeded my expectations in almost every way. Setting it up was straightforward, thanks to the easy-to-follow instructions and user-friendly software. The printer connected seamlessly to my Wi-Fi network, making it convenient to print from my laptop, tablet, and even my phone.
One of the standout features is the print quality. Whether I’m printing documents for work or high-resolution photos, the output is sharp, clear, and vibrant. The color reproduction is particularly impressive, making it a great choice for anyone who does a lot of photo printing.
In terms of speed, the Canon printer is fairly quick—printing multiple pages in a minute without any noticeable delay. It also handles different paper sizes and types without any issues, and the automatic duplex printing is a nice touch that helps save paper.

Interesting how printers are coming with monthly ink plans.
We will get to that in a bit.
Setup.
Setup was pretty easy. Untaped. Followed the instructions on the screen and I was in. I then downloaded the Android app and went through the setup and then logged into the canon website to register the printer and the printer was up and running.
Print quality is nice. Sharp 4x6 semi gloss print. Now this is my kids new printer.
Now let's talk about the monthly fee. So some printer companies are going to monthly ink subscriptions. Which is fine for heavy duty printers or printers that have super small ink cartridges and think you use up the ink fast.
One good thing about this printer on the ink. You don't have to subscribe to ink plans to be able to use the printer. Thus this is my kids new printer because her old printer would not allow for printing unless I subscribed.
Going back to this printer's capability. Wireless and wired printing was easy.
Scanner set-up was easy. Also scanning to a cloud service was also easy.
Touch screen makes it easy to operate.
Overall white and appearance looks nice and clean.
For the specifications and the use this printer is great.
I would recommend this product for what it advertises.

The Canon PIXMA TS7720 Wireless Home Printer copies, scans, and can print in either black and white or color. With the front and rear paper trays closed it is compact in size at 14.8” L x 13.8” W x 6.7” H and weighs just less than 14 lbs. It is a simple, clean design that uses only two cartridges. Using the 2.7-Inch LCD Touchscreen, this printer was very easy to set up with the wireless network. It is designed to connect easy with Dual Band Wi-Fi of 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks.
The front paper cassette and the rear paper tray can each hold up to 100 sheets of paper. The rear tray is also designed for photo paper as Canon has always placed an emphasis on the ability to print digital photos well, and this product continues that tradition. The Canon TS7720 is designed to print 15 black and white copies or 10 color images per minute.
The Copy features include double sided printing and can print in the following formats: 2 on 1 and 4 on 1, Borderless, Fit to Page, Frame Erase, ID Card Copying Auto Exposure Copy, Multiple Copies up to 99 pages, Photocopy, Preset Copy Ratios, Reduction/Zoom Copy from 25% to 400%, and Collate the Copies when copied using the ADF automatic feeder. The flatbed is only large enough for a Letter Size (A4) document and is not designed to copy either Legal or Ledger Paper Sizes. It is designed with flexibility for copying from a bound document, i.e., a book.
Scanning allows the scan to be saved to a PC or Attached to an E-mail. The scanner can scan up to an 8.5” x 11.7” Letter Size Document (A4). The scanning resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi scans in 16-bit and 8-bit images. Multiple pages can be scanned at once and turned into one pdf.
This printer is compatible with PIXMA Print. PIXMA Print is an ink delivery program managed by Canon. Plans start as low as 3.99 a month and deliveries are based on your expected monthly print needs. Free printing of 100 pages is included for new enrollees. Individuals or small businesses that use PIXMA Print always have ink on hand and can cancel at any time. The Ink Cartridges that the PIXMA TS7720 uses are PG-285 Black and CL-286 Color. The standard black and color cartridges yield approximately 180 pages each while the XL versions of these cartridges yield approximately 400 pages each.
At under $150 this printer is mighty enough to produce professional results. It is a perfect choice for a home office, a small business where light printing is needed or for students. The footprint is small for a printer and yet, it has all the features needed for various types of printing and scanning work. I would give this a serious look if you need a printer that also prints quality photos, scans various types of documents, can copy and print.

First impression: Out of the box, this looks like a nice printer. Sleek, and everything is in an easy to find place.
Setup: Print comes with a basic sheet of instructions to download an app, which takes you through an install for network setup.
This was pretty simple. The app comes with basic needs to print your photos from your phone or cloud service. All worked great.
Getting the computer connected was a little more tricky. The first attempt to find the printer didn't work over wi-fi, but the next attempt was okay despite a somewhat concerning error at the end of the installation regarding a file not found error. The first print job appeared to error out, and then after attempting a bit of troubleshooting, it seemingly cleared by itself. Printers. During this, the printer prompted a download for Download Wi-Fi Connection Assistant. Upon downloading the setup file itself wouldn't run, apparently due to a conflict with Win-zip. Ironically, winzip could extract the files from this file manually without issue, and the Wi-Fi Connection Assistant actually works pretty well and apparently corrected a port for the printer setup.
Without having to even touch a manual, ink installation was a piece of cake. Normal paper as well. For printer paper, I'm sure the icons supposedly should tell you which side is up, but I needed to watch a video tutorial, which was available and nice to have.
Next issues were probably on my side. Finding "Letter" size Photo Glossy Paper II was tricky as it's organized under "Document" and not "Photo". This printer will print borderless up to this size.
Now, let's talk about the print quality. Let me tell you, its NICE!
Frankly I was impressed. It matched my screen perfectly. 5x7 came out perfectly borderless as well.
If you uncheck borderless, you can access custom paper sizes and possibly print on roll/panoramic paper somehow. I'm interested in trying this.
Scanned documents came out perfect. Auto-contrasted the text 100%. For that, I downloaded the Canon Inket Smart Connect. It maxes out at 600 dpi and just does an okay job. For quick document scans, this feature is fine. I just wouldn't use it for archiving photos, as there's quite a bit of quality lost from the original.

All the quirks and missteps of out old Canon MF inkjet are truly addressed by the TS7720. The printer arrived nicely packaged.
Unpacked the cord, the two cartridges, quick start guide, and other paperwork and proceeded to start setup.
Following the quick start guide made this one of the easiest setups I have ever done. Connecting the power cord and turning the printer on brings up the setup menu on the color touch screen. The screen guides you through all the steps – installing cartridges, paper etc. The cartridge installation is simple and straight forward. Lifting the printer lid brings the carrier to the center position, drop the cartridges in and snap the top closed. Then set paper tray for letter size and add paper.
Going to the Canon setup page - also on Microsoft Store – download and install software. Computer can now find printer on wi-fi network, and is ready to print. The printer can be used wireless on wi-fi network, mobile devices, or LAN line.
Printing a few test pages, and the printer is quite fast, and offers a clear sharp print. The color touch screen offers a number of information, menus and settings. Scanning, copying, printing can all be done from the screen.
The one downfall to me, is the print cartridges. They are the print head as well as ink reservoir. While not as prone to clogging the print head because it is changed with the cartridges, it is also reflected in being much more expensive.
Outside of that point, overall a very good printer for home use.

Canon seems to have decided to redesign all of their printers and the TS7720 is part of the refresh. This Pixma series printer sits in the mid-tier segment in terms of price and comes with some really good features and some that aren't that great.
The box includes the printer, a power cable and 2 ink cartridges, as well as a quick start guide. Nothing out of the ordinary. Setup is one of the most simple and user-friendly I have had the pleasure to perform. You can set it up using your smartphone or a computer. The choice is yours, but since I use it for my home office, I went the PC way. It barely took 15-20 minutes from unpacking to printing.
Here's a breakdown of what I liked and what didn't work that well for me:
Pros:
+ Super easy to install and set up
+ It can print single or double-sided (a rather uncommon thing in this price segment)
+ Space saving!
+ Can operate using WiFi, USB or Air print
+ The scanner has flatbed or feeder options which is great when you have a stack of documents to scan
+ The software is solid and works fine
+ The prints are good on standard paper and very nice on glossy paper
+ Affordable
Cons:
- 2 ink cartridges, meaning the colors are combined into one single cart, wasting plenty of ink as you usually run out of one before the others
- No USB cable
- Paper tray is rather flimsy and can't hold a whole lot either
- A touch screen and buttons, why? Why not just the screen to operate the printer?
All in all, this new Canon Pixma printer is a good buy as it sports features that are uncommon in its price segment. It's a great printer, but the single color cartridge system needs to go. It's wasteful and costly in the long run. I would recommend it for your home office or occasional photo prints. Beyond that, you might want to spend a little more and get a printer with separate color carts.

I really wanted to like this printer, but at the end of the day I still went back to the competitor equivalent.
Firstly, the set up was easy. It was a little jarring to see that the app recognized my printer correctly as TS7720 on most areas of the set up, but other areas it would display my printer as TS7700. I've submitted photos as proof.
Otherwise a few things to note - you should download the app, paper tray on bottom for normal paper, photo printer to back. When loading the tray, face side DOWN is the printed side. When feeding paper from back, face side towards YOU is the printed side (the labels on the physical printer was confusing, and the app doesn't actually tell you either). Other than these 2 issues, set up was a quick download app and connect to wifi, then we're good to go. The set up on the touch screen and responsiveness of the touchscreen is slightly faster than previous canon models, but just slightly. Something to point out as 2-3 generations ago it was difficult to work with and now it's alot smoother and intuitive.
The Canon Ts7720 has a few strengths. Namely the speed. I was able to print a full page color in less than 30 seconds (that's from going from the app pressing send, then physically holding a piece of photo in my hand) on gloss paper. The simplicity of going photo paper to normal paper was nice, there was no easy direction, it's doable but the app doesn't tell you, to have photo paper in the tray. Again, just wish it was more clear on how to set it up than having to go through multiple screens to get this right.
Now for the quality, this was where I was disappointed. I compared a side by side print out of the competitor glossy photo print to this Canon, and the competitor was easily visibly better in terms of image color reproduction, the contrast was better, and the noise/diffusion was better on the competitor. However, the competitor also took longer to print in the same mode. So I suppose for fast color prints that exact reproduction isn't the priority , then this would be a very good printer (in use case scenarios, I'm thinking for children print outs, for classroom print outs, etc, where there's many students that need to have a color print quickly so they can return to classwork, this would be ideal).
I suspect this was likely the use case scenario that Canon had in mind, as the other thing going for it is it uses 2 cartridges and is very economical/efficient in print.
So overall, the inconsistent printer recognition, the medium quality printouts, took away some stars, but the speed and economic features does shine and should be considered for those use case scenarios. See images that was submitted.
