Pretty good printer for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's fast and prints with high quality. Easy to use. The printer itself feels flimsy and cheaply made, but the inner workings of it are excellent. Easily connects to both wi-fi and direct attach printer cables.

Better than the more expensive Epson I had before.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very pleased with the quality of the photos I have printed so far - and I saved money. The printer is quiet, looks good, and is ready to go quickly after turning it on. Black text is as good as my mono laser printer. So far, no regrets.

Replaced an other Canon printer
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This one replaced an other Canon printer that was not working anymore. Easy to use, can print wireless from my phone and tablet and also from my laptop of course. Careful with the cd sleeve, if loaded incorrect the printer will not work. It is very easy to load incorrectly.

Nice machine for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good all-in-one multi-purpose printer/copier/scanner. If it has a fault, it is hard to load paper without a bit of a struggle to slide the tray out from the bottom. Otherwise, the quality is pretty good.

Buy This Baby!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Canon printer feels a little flimsier than the last one I owned and doesn’t hold as much paper as my last one did. Still, it doesn’t show even a hint of gasping or giving up. Takes up less space than the previous Canon and is super-easy to set up.

Great printer for small areas.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased for work use out in the woods in Smithville TX. Ran it off my cell hotspot, and it held up great. It is small and light, so worked great for my temp mobile office. I actually prefer this printer over the HP I have in my home office.

Works Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is great because of its price and its various functions. I only dislike the moving out-tray and the movable control panel. But Overall, this also makes it compact and very user friendly.

Well Worth It
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have finally depleted my first set of ink cartridges(except for the photo blue) So far so good. The printer seems to work great. No paper-jams, no smudges of ink, no crazy error messages. Initially installing the drivers for the MacBook were strange, but like magic the MacBook fixed itself. The Chromebook laptop will not print but that may change eventually. The iPhones send to printer fine. I recommend a printer cover to prevent dust and everything thing else that could destroy the printer. I used some gorilla tape and clear plastic to manufacture an inexpensive protective cover. I have intentions of trying out the scan capabilities. Oh, a little tip for Best Buy sales assoc. when someone walks to the check out with a printer be sure to ask them if they need any printer paper, you may save the loyal customer a bit of travel expense.

Exactly what I need
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, you should know I'm very picky about my printers. I needed one that printed high quality, quickly, could duplex (double side) print, as well as scan, print pictures, and needed to have all colors separated ink-wise. This one does it all. There's even a purple color I never had with my older canon printer. The ONLY thing I don't like is how EXPENSIVE the ink is. With my old Canon printer, I could get generic ink cartridges for $11 on Amazon. With this one, there isn't a set less than $50. And I run a stationery business from home - so I use a LOT of ink. I love the way it prints though.

Good Basic Printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unfortunately I had to replace a reliable Pixma MP160 that lasted for so many years. I've had this TS 8220 for about 4 months, it prints & scans fine and is sufficient for general use. CONS: The front panel screen must be opened up and down, seems like there could be a better design for that. The paper tray is flimsy, cheapy plastic and holds a minimal amount of paper (100 sheets I think), about half of what my previous printer held, so you have to replace that often. The cartridges are double the price (generic) than older Pixma, but it's a plus that it accepts generic cartridges where I have read that some HP & Epson brands do not.

Okay for what it is
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this printer because I needed something quicker than my older CanonMP280. This printer isn't as quick as I would like, but it does offer wireless printing from both my MAC and my cell phone. I like that the printer offers hands-free double-sided printing. However, it is fickle! It often says the tray does not have paper in it when indeed it does. Even when I'm printing in black-and-white my pictures/documents come out with a red tint. Overall, for the price I paid it is an okay printer, but I am disappointed.

Love this printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this printer. It prints duplex which saves a ton of paper. It's very quiet which sometimes can be difficult because I don't know if my print came out... lol... but the print quality is amazing... price is good.. excellent quality print for the size....

Great printer/scanner
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The printer portion of this unit is outstanding. Due to more colors in ink, it produces really good prints rendering colors beautifully. The scanner portion, the scanner itself is OK, but because of this unit being WiFi only (no Ethernet), the data transfer for a large scan is extremely slow... And when i was on a different frequency (5 GHz versus 2.4 GHz but on the same network), the scanning would time out during data transfer. I thought the USB can be used to do scanning, but it cannot... it is only for setting the unit up in the event that you have trouble setting it up using WiFi.

It prints out pictures very good and well as papers, and I can do it through my phone or laptop. It’s not too complicated to use at all.
