This is turning out to be a great printer. It took me awhile to figure out the upper paper tray because I am too short to see the guides. But when I look at the manual I figured it out. Also previous reviewers of wifi printers have complained about the printer turning off and being unable to print from a cell phone or tablet. That can be taken care of on the settings on the display.

After trying many types of printers, I have found Canon printers to be very reliable over the years. I purchased this one after the software on my previous Canon printer became too out of date for my computer. This one seems to have more moving parts than ones of the past, but it still does a great job, especially with printing photos.

I wanted a good, reasonably priced printer to use for printing photos. I wanted to have an album of my overseas trip. I was willing to get a more expensive printer, but my caveat was that I wanted to see it work, not order blindly. This machine prints lovely photos. It's not an art photo printer. I can only print to 8.5 x 11, but to have a record of my awesome trip, this printer is perfect.

This is our first wireless printer. It is great that I can print from my phone and all of our wifi laptops and desk tops from anywhere in the house. I also like the paper cassette system. We have high humidity and our last printer had a top-load paper system, so the paper would flop over and jam. No worries about that with this printer!

This is the 3rd Pixma printer I have owned and each one provided years of great service. This is used daily for documents and photos and has not missed a beat. The color for my photos is very impressive. Documents are almost as clear as a laser printer. I highly recommend this printer.

I bought this printer as an upgrade for an older client whose previous model reached end-of-life. Technically, setting up this printer was EASY and the output quality is excellent, however feedback from my client indicates usability leaves something to be desired. For example, when did a simple "COPY" become the basis for 20 questions? When my client wants to copy, he would just like to press a button on the front panel and copy! Instead he has to go 3 or 4 screens deep before he is finally given the privilege of making a copy. Keep the front panel simple and leave the complicated stuff in the related application software. I am clicking on "recommend" but only if my friend has medium to advanced experience with technology.

I some ways the printer options aretoo sophisticated and don't need all the bells and whistles to do simple printing. Sometimes it loses its wireless connection and becomes a pain to reestablish it. Print quality seems pretty good. Printer is sometimes slow
