The worst printer I've ever had the misfortune to own. Has all the bells and whistles but is a total pain to use. Always asleep and then you will spend 15-20 minutes turning it on and off trying to get it to work and connect to the router, which is 6 feet away in the same room. Then, if it connects, 9 times out of 10, the paper jams. This printer is junk. Avoid.

This product seems fair however the printer ink program is missing. Canon as a company is leaps and bounds behind Hp when it comes to ink delivery, as well as phone app integrations and ease of setup is really poor comparatively. They tell you that you can get ink delivery program Online but when you get there, the site doesn’t do anything for you. The webpage is dead static and just there for sake of it. Overall very disappointing experience with the product. Prints great but very small paper loading tray..hardly holds 20-30pages and the speciality paper needs to be fed and can’t be used in the paper tray due to rolling feeder type used for printing in it. So the feeder is small and may can feed on 3-5 thick photo matte pages at at best from the too back...it’s an ink Guzzler ! So if you don’t have ink program you are just throwing money.

When it prints it is very good both text and photo. But it is an unmitigated disaster to set up. It comes with a "set up" sheet, a disk, a U-tube and setup directions on the screen of the machine itself. However none of them is complete. I could not set it up even with all of this supposed help. I called Canon and a tech guided me through the set-up. I accepted a direct cable link to computer #1 and asked for WiFi for the other two. This took an hour. Finally it was ready to go. I tested the copying it worked fine but not from the computer. Next day I called the Geek squad. They spent another hour fixing the WiFi. The printer just would not recognize the other computers. The next day it failed again and would not print from any computer. Geek squad again worked it over for another hour and got it to work. I have been a faithful Canon client for many years but no more. the machine itself looks and feels very flimsy.

This printer does not allow you to select the pages that you want to print, you have to deselect what you don’t want to print. So, if you have a 100 page document and only want to print pages 67-70, you have to deselect pages 1 through 66 page by page and then you have to deselect pages 71 through 100 again page by page. This is a really ridiculous amount of wasted time. This is my first and last purchase of a Canon printer. All my previous printers were HP and I really regret buying this printer. I’m going to try and exchange this printer for another HP printer. The other negative feature is that you can only place a small amount of paper in the feed tray so if you are printing a large document, you need to keep adding more paper. Overall, I do not like this printer and find that the quality of printing is just so so and does not compare well to any of my previous HP printers.

I had problems with this printer. I constantly got error messages and the paper slot did not work. However the customer service from Canon tried to assist me with problems. Finally the representative decided to replace it with a new one. The printer is working and so far I haven't had any problems. I would recommend this product because of the immediate response that I received from the Canon customer service representative. The break down is based on the usage of the new printer.

This printer is a waste of $. The paper tray is terrible, scanning is a high hassle, jams, goes through so my ink, don't waste your money.

This is the most overpriced junk on the market! It didn't even last a year before it crumbled all the prints and jammed constantly. Don't waste your money!

I have been HP GUY for ever, I was looking for a good back printer and this printer and it had some very good write up. I bought home and it was DOA.

This printer jams all the time I can't get it to work properly. Had it less than 60 days

This is the most unpredictable printer I’ve ever had. I took it back because it was so frustrating. It wouldn’t print from a device unless you went into the app and reconnected to the WiFi. Then sometimes you had to switch the connection to Bluetooth. Just awful and frustrating. I do not recommend at all.

I give this printer 0 stars! I was never able to print from the rear tray which is why I bought the printer. I returned it right away. I stayed up until 3AM researching ways to get the printer to work & all I found was other mad people, no solutions to fix the problem!

Is not that reliable paper gets jammed all the time thr paint goes empty so quickly

This printer stopped working after about 2 months.

I could not get this all-in-one to keep wi-fi connection, scan or even print reliably. Cannon technical help made things worse and while a tech-savvy relative got things working, it did not last. For a brand new machine, all it provided was frustration. I do credit Best Buy for taking it back.

I purchased based on previous Canon (printers)... The quality of the prints were sub par. The printer itself is loud and clangy sounding. It take forever to get it to print. It constantly tries to print CD’s. Both online and pdf manuals are not helpful. This is covid19 - so returns aren’t running as normal. Plus I threw out the box for safety measures.

I cannot believe that this is on the market as it was hard to set up, it is having a hard time with feeding the paper, it gets jammed all the time and that all happened within the first couple of weeks. I will return it asap!

This printer lasted lest than two years and then gave an error code of 6800 which means logic board failed and there is nothing we can co about it.

Does not print matte vinyl. It smudges all of the ink and I wish I could return this.

Doesn't fax. Returned it. Was the wrong printer, all in one. Worker should have ordered the Canon TR8520. I told the employee I needed to print, fax, copy and scan.

This is not an easy printer to deal with. I am so dissapointed because I couldn't install it and ask for help, my son installed it but now is difficult for me to use it.
