This is a complete printer. It sets up easy and portable.

Easy setup right out of the box. Seems to print really well with photo prints being exceptional. Hard to beat at this price point.

It prints great when it works fine. Only after 1 month of very light usage, Error 1851 (paper output tray is in the position for disc print) kept on preventing me from printing. No matter how much I adjusted the paper try--even removed the paper tray completely, the error code still popped up. At first it still allowed me to scan, but then it wouldn't even let me do that! I looked at all the blogs and forums, nothing helped to fix it. Seems to be a more common issue than not. Just returned it today.

I bought this printer due to a price match. It is a good deal. I have the model MG7520 which prints really well especially with pictures. I like the compact design of this printer. The feature that I dont like is once the tray slide out, it won't retract. Other than that, it is a good printer to use with inexpensive inks as well.

Canon products are of consistently high quality, and this printer is proof of that. It is relatively compact, attractive with a high quality fit and finish, versatile and best of all, I could not ask for a better quality output. My only criticisms are that I wish the paper tray were larger (I find myself having to add paper more often than I would like), and the machine shuts itself off after several minutes of disuse and does not wake itself up unless I press the power button - of course, that might be in the way I set it up - in other words, operator error. In any event, it is an overall great printer for my purposes.

Easy to set up and the prints are of great quality

Printer works great for the daily items of a student. Pros: it prints and does everything I need it to do. Cons: printer ink can get very expensive as for every printer. Some of the parts made on this printer seem pretty flimsy and if not careful can be broken.

The photo quality is great. To print photo quality and other special paper types you have to load from the flip up tray in the back, not the normal tray in front.

Very easy to set up and sync to all wireless devices. Prints great quality pages and pictures. Very good price for an all in one unit. I would recommend to anyone I know looking for a new printer.
