I've had the printer for some time now and have printed off around 400 images on everything from copy paper to canvas and each one impresses me with the sharp look and the speed it prints would buy this 10 times over

It is compact, prints quality pictures, I love it.

I've always been a fan of Canon printers and couldn't pass this one up at the sale price. Love being able to print and scan from my iPhone. Bought one for my mother for Christmas and one for ourselves. Photos come out great, but have to brighten them up a little on my phone before printing. Very fast output. Impressive!

Easy to install and use! The print quality is good

I have only used the printer twice this week & both times I was impressed. Once for a maternity photo that was super glossy & professional grade. The other was a scan test page that took a little longer than expected but was super detailed. Very cool in my opinion.

But it prints lighter than the preview. Still it's a good printer worth the money.

Printer is used mostly for documents not photos, but text printing is very good. Relatively fast, although it does sometimes take a few moments to go through a warm-up when you first print. Using generic ink cartridges without issue.

I purchased this printer specifically for printing photographs. I use a HP all-in-one for everything else. The first one was DOA out of the box. Whoever put it together jammed the CD printer tray in too far which kept it from working. I exchanged it the next day for an identical printer. The quality of the prints was less than you would get at the corner drug store. The color was slightly off no matter what you did. They lacked anything resembling a professional look and weren't good enough to be sold. Instead of the vibrant photos I printed on my Canon Pixma iP4000 until it "died" after 12+ years of use, the prints looked "dull." I had a photo studio for 25 years so I'm more picky than most. In all fairness, the prints might be good enough for someone with an untrained eye -- especially if you used the maximum quality print setting and good photo paper. In addition, I noticed that even the XL cartridges held 5ml less ink than the old printer's cartridges that cost $5 less. Not only are the cartridges more expensive, they print a lot less prints than my old one -- and it takes more of them. So, I returned it -- and the hunt continues.

Works amazing for home use, just feel that ink is going bit fast. But over all perfect set up for home printer

Works extremely well for what it is designed for. I would like a fax function added but it's not a deal breaker. This top of the line machine connects and functions well and is definitely worth the no-brainer price of 150 dollars off! Buy it soon!

This is my 1st Canon Printer & it is a very impressive printer. All my HP's have been breaking down so I am shifting over to Canon & Epson. This Canon is packed full of features & prints great quality photos. I also own & use three (3) Canon Cameras so I already know Canon builds quality products.
