good replacement for my pixma 922
||Posted .I needed a new printer to replace my mx922. I wanted the extra size (11x17) for documentation. Fills the bill and uses similar 5 cartridge system. Good system, but slightly cheaper made, but didn't need the office capability of dual paper trays.. Has the other features like doc feeder, double side printing. Good purchase.

Canon TS9520
||Posted .Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.I like the idea of 5 ink cartridges , where if you only use one color you can change that one , not like HP where you must replace a tri color cartridge, and waste the other 2 colors.

Ive always liked Canon printers
||Posted .Owned for 1 year when reviewed.I often use the scanning option for receipts, paperwork and other work stuff. The quality is good. The printing option is average, I print 5-10 pages per job print on some occasions. It sucks ink a little too much but the quality is good so it makes sense.

Canon PIXMA family is solid
||Posted .Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This is the second of these I've purchased. It has good capabilities and I love the fact that I can set it up for automatic firmware updates off the Internet. Not bad for less than $150.

Canon
||Posted .Was happy with my prior Canon. It lasted in the 5+ year range. Eventually got one of those fatal errors regarding the "ink sled." Cheaper to buy a new device than repair the old. Wished the ink cartilages didn't change.

Prints awesome
||Posted .However, automatic and paper tray way to small. I would only recommend for the great quality prints.

Good Printer
||Posted .The printer makes good prints, but is not nearly as convenient to use as the old Canon Pixma it was replacing. I also wish the cassette held more paper.

It has been working really well so far
||Posted .I have been using Canon printers for over 25 years. They REALLY work for a long time with very little problems. This printer was easy to setup. It hooked right into my network fine and I can also use it with my phone. Prints nice and clean and the scanner works great. It has two different paper ports. The smaller one is front loading for envelopes, photo paper, etc., and the back tray holds much more (best for regular paper). The weird part of the back tray is it is more of a feeder slot than a tray. It pulls up and stays at an angle and you load the paper in and then there is a guide bar to keep the paper in place. Chances are the paper might get some dust on it because it isn't covered. The back tray the paper goes straight through so it prints as you see on screen while the front tray flips the paper so you have to remember that when printing. Overall a great printer. Just wish the back tray had some sort of cover to protect the paper from dust and such.

not the best. certainly not for the price.
Posted .My wife purchased this all in one printer to replace an old Canon PIXMA. She didn't realize at the time that it DOES NOT include a fax function, which we wanted. We were almost willing to live with that. But then we found out that, unlike the old PIXMA that we had, the printer's scan software is a pared-down version called "scan lite" or something, which offers far less functionality than what we were used to. Strike two. The final straw was that while the printer says it can handle duplex/double-sided scanning from the doc feeder, what happens is this: The scanner scans one side of the page, and then you have to retrieve the document from the output bin, turn it around, and re-scan the second side of each page. Nope. Not for $200. We returned the printer. Best Buy -- to their credit -- made the return very easy. In short, I would not recommend this printer.
