I need to be able to see the display and if you have to lift it up I can not see it. My other printer you did not have to leave ther tray out for it to print. It just printed when you hit print. To print you need to do 2 things or leave the tray out all the time. Other than those to things it looks nice and prints fine. I find it a pain to make adjustments to it before you print and to either leave it that way or close it back or open it all of the time.
