Wasn't sure what I was looking for in a camera but the young man helped me and recommended this camera according to my explanation of what I was planning to do with it. It has met my expectations completely. Was looking for something easy to use, easy to carry (in a case on my belt) and get to, and not too expensive. Very satisfied with this purchase.

This camera is ok takes pictures fine but not great. For the price and for travel it is ok since it is light weight and not too expensive

it's a great camera to have if you don't want to carry your DSLR around. Does exactly what it needs to do, takes great video, great stills, no complaints thus far.

I bought this camera for my mom, who has been using a Canon for a long time. I chose this one so she could stay with Canon and it would be something she was used to using (and avoid confusion). Canon has gone away from providing a disc for the image browser software, so now she's having to learn it all over again. Not a huge deal, but I probably would have looked at other options if I had known the software wasn't provided. When I asked the Best Buy employee about this before buying it, he said there were no major changes from previous models.

This is a wonderful small camera for kids pictures in the go. I like to keep it in my bag for outings and the picture quality is great!
